Skeletons Out Of The Cupboard

When the Police at the La Paz County Sheriff’s office received a report of human remains being spotted on a river bed .....

Skeletons In The River

.... by a snorkeller in the area of Cienega Springs, Arizona, they had to investigate.

So they duly despatched the Buckskin Fire Department dive team, who checked what was considered to be a credible report. But they were not expecting what they actually found .... which was that there were two fake skeletons, apparently having a tea party underwater.

The County Sheriff’s office posted a video from a member of the dive team, with the two fake skeletons sitting in lawn chairs at the bottom of the river. “Although the call itself was genuine, the skeletons weren't" said the Sheriff’s office.

...... and the only clue ......

The Only Clue

is the plaque on one of the chairs .... So far no one has come forward to say what the skeletons are doing in the Colorado River ....

Only in America!

  1. This story makes me think of the film What Lies Beneath, one of the better thrillers.

Moderation is on for older posts to stop spamming and comments that are off topic or inappropriate from being posted .... comments are reviewed within 48 hours. I don't block normal comments that are on topic and not inappropriate. Vexatious comments that may cause upset to other commentators, or that are attempting to espouse a particular wider political view, are reviewed before acceptance. But a certain amount of debate around a post topic is accepted, as long as it remains generally on topic and is not an attempt to become sounding board for some other cause.
