Trumps Travel Ban Travails

President Trump has reissued his travel ban list (minus Iraq), which of course is still essentially the same list of countries who were under extra scrutiny under President Obama (now minus one). Although you would never know this from the pro-refugee, pro-immigration liberals, who weep every time a refugee is refused entry.

Now I am happy to admit that President Trump is possibly a tower short of a shopping mall, but in this area I actually think he's being rather restrained, as there are many more Islamic paradises he could have included in the list. So with his minimalist list of Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen (six of the seven countries on the original 27 January order), the US have subjected the citizens of those countries to a 90-day travel ban and extra background checks.

So lets just briefly consider why these countries are 'the chosen ones?'

Iran:
  • Well its a Shia theocracy, with a long declared government hatred of the 'Great Satan' (aka the USA) ... we in UK incidentally, are the 'Little Satan' - see burning flags, and hostage taking of both US and UK citizens.
  • It has an avowed intention to wipe Israel off the map one way or another, including in a nuclear fire if necessary.
  • Its pursuing an expensive nuclear reactor program and missile building, despite its citizens suffering poverty, which is avowedly 'civilian', but see second point.
  • It exports violence across the region (Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen), via the Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah militia. Usually this is in direct opposition to US and or Saudi aims in the same location.
  • It operates a legal system which is not free of government interference, and imprisons and tortures opponents either legally, or in 'black' prisons.
  • Has been on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism since January 1984.

.... obviously a great place, and so no reason to stop their citizens being stopped from entry for 90 days, while extra enquiries made then?

 Libya:
  • Completely lawless failed North African state.
  • Has at least two rival governments, who are war with each other.
  • A major illegal immigrant hub for African migrants trying to break into Europe -destabilising both it and Europe.
  • People trafficking a major illegal economic activity.
  • Location of many jihadist groups (including IS), and base for them to attack neighbouring states such as Mali.
  • Major supplier of illegal crude oil across the region.
  • Has been on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism since December 1979.

.... so another sunshine Arab state, and no reason to stop their citizens being stopped from entry for 90 days, while extra enquiries made then?

Syria:
  • Battle ground between Sunni and Shia sects of Islam, with civil war going on now for five years and counting.
  • Major source of illegal immigrants attempting to break into Europe.
  • Home of many Jihadist groups including IS.
  • Likely to be a major source of Jihadists who hold western citizenship when IS beaten on ground in Middle East.
  • Turkey and Syria and Russia are all playing their own version of the 'Great Game' in Syria and right on Israel's borders.
  • Has been on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism since December 1979.

.... well another great Arab state, with nothing obvious about why the US might want to stop their citizens being stopped from entry for 90 days then.

Sudan:
  • (Life) President when a colonel led the coup which put him in power.
  • (Life) President has overseen at least one genocide attempt in its province of Darfur.
  • (Life) President Omar Hasan Ahmad al-Bashir is wanted on international warrants and refuses to give himself up.
  • Has a full Islamic legal system (which means none at all really), which disenfranchised and penalised Christians and others, and led to a civil war.
  • Home to many groups who actively seek to attack the West.
  • Has been on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism since August 1993.

.... nothing to see here either. Let em all in is what I say.

Mogadishu Was A Disaster For The Somalis Who Are Now Led By Warlords

Somalis Who Are Now Led By Warlords

Somalia:
  • No central effective government since 1991.
  • Home to numerous Islam terrorist groups.e.g. the Islamic Courts Union (ICU).
  • Exports terrorism across the region e.g. Kenya.
  • A major source of Islamic pirates across the local seas.
  • Surprisingly NOT on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism.
  • Home to many financial scams via money transfers.

.... yet another place we infidels would all feel safe living in (not).

Yemen:
  • Currently in a sponsored civil war between two elements of Islam, with Saudi Arabia and Iran on different sides.
  • South Yemen was on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism from December 29, 1979.
  • Largely lawless, and with hard line Islam of one strand or the other, on the cards for decades to come.
  • Home to both Shia Rebels and separatist South Yemeni rebels for decades.
  • No effective government since 2014.
  • Likely to be on the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism in next release.

...... But other than that no possible reason why Hollywood celebrities should not march to support Yemeni's trying to get in to USA.

In fact, no reason for luvvy's and left-wing liberals not too march in support of all the immigrants or refugees from all these countries. That's probably why they all do!

Liberal Memory Loss .... Priceless.
