Hackney 'Gangstas' From A Recent TV Show (Actors) |
Now no one currently believes that this will remain this way for the whole year (although there is no reason why it shouldn't), but the political reaction to this has been pathetic. By this I mean that despite the stream of black faces being shown as both victims and perpetrators, the politicians (and media police), are trying to portray this as a general societal problem, rather than a major black gangster culture thing, which has been allowed to escalate out of control.
Quotes from retired black police officers saying that "We have seen the virus of violence spreading. It is endemic in so many different parts of societies." or this from Sarah Jones MP "Knife crime and violent crime acts like an epidemic, so you need to go in at the source to cut it off and then you need to inoculate the future young people against it." are just red herrings.
The truth is plain enough .... too many black boys are brought up with no father (which sets an example in itself), and suffer from self esteem and behavioural / mental problems, and so turn to gang cultures to get male peer respect. This is compounded by the fact that when the police used to perform 'stop and searches' the same self styled "community leaders" who complain about the lack of policing now, were complaining about racism in the stop and search polices of the past.
Well you reap what you sow .... the victims of these murders are nearly always black teens, who are also the most likely to be the attackers in these crimes.

But the wider communities also suffer as they no longer feel safe, because of the epidemic of gang violence spreading into other ethnic groups, as well the wider white population.
The latest victims are a 17-year-old girl dead in Tottenham and two boys aged 16 and 15 with stab wounds in Walthamstow (one of whom has also died) ... the figures before these two latest incidents, were twenty-six people murdered with knives so far in London this year – the majority from black communities. The truth is that so called black community leaders very rarely have the safety of the community at heart, but often have their own profiles in mind. They campaigned against stop and search because black boys (who use the most weapons) were getting 'targeted' because they were black ....
Now, the Inspectorate of Constabulary reported "troubling" revelations that black people are eight times more likely to be stopped are less likely to have illegal substances found on them than white people in stop-and-searches. But by simple logic, the stop and search policies formerly employed must have had some impact, else why have the killings increased? So these practices, whether profiled or not, must have must have deterred black boys from carrying guns and knives in the past, or the problems of this year would have happened earlier. But targeted Stop and Search was neutered to appease 'the community'. The community in question being young black males, not the girls and women who are robbed, stabbed or shot as often as any others in 'the community'.
NPCC Deputy Chief Constable Adrian Hanstock said last year that that police also needed look at why black men were "victims of violent crime and across the criminal justice system as a whole" ... hmm, same argument. Black men don't make up 50 per cent of the population, in fact less than 5 percent, but make up around 14% of all criminals in prison. So they are 3 times more likely to be involved in crime than their white counterparts.
So now, its hardly a surprise a couple of years later we started having problems with the number of black on black crimes ending in people being stabbed or shot. You either want to tackle black teen gangsta culture (and thus cut the death rates), or you want to stop the police tackling the issue properly by targeting and breaking up the gangs, and suffer the higher death rates. You can't tackle this like a health issue 'epidemic' .... feckless black male parenting is a wider black community issue.
Black boys running with the gangs is a black parenting issue, and increasingly a societal policing problem.

Thanks for the link. A catalogue of sadness for many family and friends affected.
DeleteThe PC brigade led by David Lammy MP are back on the racism bandwagon again, claiming that the Police gang matrix is racist and disproportionately profiling black males as there are more black males on it than statistically matches the 13% of blacks in London.
ReplyDeleteLaughable really, as these black on black murders mean that really the police should be targeting 100% black males in the gang matrix. But then some people don't want to stop black violence or save black victims, they want to get some advantage for themselves, political or influential.
