The Complicity Of Silence

Another week of tolerance in the lands of the pure ......

Incitement To Murder Nothing New .....

.... and yet more Christians are in fear of their lives from the Muslim mobs.

Our governments continue to turn a blind eye to the terror and intolerance that the Islamic world shows to all the religious minorities that they can gain control over.

In Pakistan, the government has effectively passed a death sentence of a Christian woman, Asia Bibi (Asia Noreen), by doing a deal with the mobs led by the Tehreek-i-Labaik (TLP) party (a hard-line group of fanatics), which states that:

  • All protesters arrested since Asia Bibi's acquittal will be released, and any violence towards them will be investigated.
  • The government will also start legal proceedings to put Ms Bibi on a list which would ban her from leaving Pakistan.
Muslims Always See Themselves As Victims ..... As This Cartoon Shows.

The second part of this, means that unless she is allowed to flee abroad, she will almost certainly be killed by some scum-bag, who believes he will either go to paradise, or more likely never get arrested - there have been several attempts to kill her already. Several western countries have offered her asylum, and her lawyer Saif Mulook has fled Pakistan, as he fears the same mobs will produce someone who will try to kill him as well.

The Pakistani government of Imran Khan don't want her to flee as it looks bad, but apparently wouldn't be so bothered if she was killed, and is just as in hock to the hard-line fanatics, as all the other Pakistani governments. The TLP was set up, after Mumtaz Qadri was executed for the murder of Salmaan Taseer, Governor of Punjab, who had tried to speak in defence of Ms Bibi. It is a fast-growing religious political party that exists solely to punish blasphemers (against Sunni Islam).

Meanwhile, in Egypt yet another mass killing of Coptic Christians pilgrims, killed by gunmen as they headed to a monastery on Friday he 2nd of November. Seven were killed and seven injured while another such attack killed 28 at the same spot in May 2017. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a minute's silence for the victims, and called the Coptic Pope, Tawadros II, to offer his condolences .... again. Again as usual, it was later announced that dozens of terrorists had been killed in retribution for the attack.

While we continue to just say nothing, and our governments encourage a complicity of silence, then the slow genocide of minorities in Muslim lands will continue.

  1. It's a religious trait to see themselves as victims, and a tactic. Ken Ham, the Creationist behind the Ark Encounter in Kentucky, has convinced his backers and his followers that everyone is against them. It's got nothing to do with their childish and literal reading of the Bible or the science which demonstrates its naive model of the World, no, it's a conspiracy and peoples' rejection of "God's word".

    1. That's a good question, "what do these terrorists want? If what they want is to get every flying passenger to take off their belt and shoes before hitting the custom free, they can stop now, mission accomplished.
