Something Unremarked

There was yet another black on black stabbing and murder in London last week.

Gun Gang Signs ..... On Illegal And Stolen Moped
Gun Gang Signs ..... On Illegal And Stolen Moped.

Pictures of Jayden Moodie on the black moped (that had been reported stolen), with wads of cash or making gang signs, and describing himself as a 'trapper kid' (slang for drug dealer), had already appeared on social media.

The stabbing occurred in another of our capitals ethnic hot spots, Waltham Forest. As the BBC reported it, the killing occurred when the rider of a moped, crashed into, or was hit by, a car with three male occupants, who then got out and stabbed the moped driver to death, before driving off.

Probably not worth more than another footnote in the history of black on black violence that's enveloping our society, as these ethnic gangs are allowed to form unchallenged until murder occurs, but for one fact, which was that the moped rider killed was aged just 14.

However what has apparently gone unremarked by the media is what was a 14 year old doing riding about on on the roads of London with a stolen moped?

Now unless the laws have been changed while I looked the other way, the current minimum age to legally ride a moped in the UK is aged 16 years, and you will also need to:
  • Complete Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for the relevant motorcycle category.
  • Pass a theory test.
  • Pass practical tests.
I will guarantee that neither the 14 year old, nor his friend / brother (who may or may not have been with him on the moped), had passed any test to ride the moped, and were probably actually both under age as well.

That of course doesn't excuse why three men apparently killed him, accident or no accident, but I think its odd that no one has thought to ask why the moped riders were on a public road on a motorised vehicle. Even the police haven't mentioned it, and in fact even commented about people who rushed to judgement on a persons character, with third party information.  .... But I contend that this sort of blind eye being turned to low level but advancing criminality, made it an accident just waiting to happen.

..... Or in this case, a murder waiting to happen.

  1. Why the News turned a blind eye to this young gang member also baffled me, it was a glaring omission. No doubt it was the over zealous Political Correctness which generally accompanies the dead along with the accusation of Victim Blaming that everyone is keen to avoid, and damn the truth.

    1. Its almost certainly as you say over zealous Political Correctness .... but it looks like the boy was heading down an all too familiar road.
