London Road, Sleaford Lincolnshire has cycle lanes - but Sleaford doesn't apparently have the templates to create the road markings, so in July 2017 an enterprising contractor decided to draw them free hand ....
.... sadly, the contractors, Western Power Distribution said it was arranging for the sign to be repainted shortly .... personally I preferred the freestyle effort as it reminds me of a crime scene profile, and was a brave effort.
Landmark Gone
There was a 27,000 ton waste dump in Bromley South East London that regularly burst into spontaneous combustion.
I say 'was', because after 12 months of labour, contractor's finally shifted it. Good news for local residents, but I can't help wondering where they shifted it to?

An unknown pilot who has been leaving vapour sky images over Cambridge for sometime has left this latest one .....
.... I don't know if he's done any more sky signs, but I suspect that he would be appreciated if he (or she, come to think of it), if they did some right now.

Building an office block in Bracknell, Berkshire UK must have seemed like a good idea when it went up at a cost of £18m in 2011 - But the speculators must feel like right berks as the building was demolished several years later without anyone ever moving in.
Wallasey Waft
Police in Wallasey in the Wirral (Merseyside UK), noticed an 'unusual smell' on the streets, and upon tracing it back to the source, uncovered a £2.4million cannabis farm ...
...... What got me, was how they would ever notice an unusual smell in Wallasey .... only joking!
