Now I know that you could also be thinking .... 'Cheeky Bastard'! ..... But it really is. How do I know? Well scientists have told me so ....
So why have scientists been sniffing around Uranus?
Well researchers at Oxford University have published an article in Nature Astronomy magazine, in which they confirmed that the upper atmosphere of the planet Uranus is made up of hydrogen sulphide (a constituent of the old stink bombs), and which of course smells like rotten eggs or farts.
Now this isn't the first time that astronomers and scientists have speculated on what planets smell like, should we be able to breath the atmosphere without instant death.
Previous reports have said that Mars also smells like rotten eggs or farts, while the Moon would smell like gunpowder residue. Jupiter on the other hand, apparently smells of bitter almonds or cyanide. The Solar System smells pretty bad it seems, so perhaps its as well that in space, no one is able to hear your screams of disgust.
