The record for the biggest tooth extracted from a human mouth, was held by Urvil Patel of India (and his dentist Dr Jaimin Patel) .....

..... who had the longest human tooth pulled, at 3.67cm (1.44 in).
A record he had seized from the previous record holder, Loo Hui Jing (or maybe if you prefer, his dentist Ng Lay Choo - some give the record to the dentists), by just under 5mm in 2017. But then in 2019 a Croatian, Mijo Vodopija went to the dentists in Mainz Germany, and had a whopper tooth extracted by dentist Dr Max Lukas. It was 3.72cm (1.46 inches) long, and half a millimetre longer than Mr Patel's effort.

And that might have been that, but under the BJP India still takes no Olympic medals, but hangs on tenaciously to, longest hair, longest nails and biggest tooth etc records. So it was if one of India's claims to fame and superpower status that had been threatened.
India wasn't going to take this lying down, and in March 2020, dentist, Dr Saurabh Srivastava of Madhya Pradesh, who hasn't named his patient, was approached for treatment by a 20 year old student who was found to have two “giant” maxillary canines, and Dr Srivastava recommended that he undergo orthodontic treatment (straightening or moving teeth).

But the patient refused (possibly for cost or time reasons), so Dr Srivastava took it upon himself to remove the monstrous twin set of teeth.
“To everyone’s surprise, the first tooth measured around 39 millimetres,” Dr Srivastava said. “The second tooth which was removed was about 36 millimetres long.”
Dentist, Dr Saurabh Srivastava of Madhya Pradesh, was advised to submit it to the Guinness Book of Records in order to regain the record for India.

So now that they potentially have that record back, I am going to lay down a new challenge for India ... longest chunk of earwax. Yes, in 2019, Consultant audiologist Neel Raithatha in Leicestershire, England, has removed what he believes is the world's longest complete chunk of earwax from a patient in Oadby, which he measured at 2.5cm in length.
Beat that India! ..... and take this record away from us ..... we won't mind, honestly!!
