When a lone 'nut case' (even his lawyer thinks he is insane) goes on a killing spree in Europe, we usually write it off as a 'one off' e.g. The Hungerford Massacre.

What we don't usually do is make the assumption that this person represented a 'group', who should be hunted down and purged.
However, the 'mad man' of Norway, who thought he was 'defending Europe' against Islam, by going on a killing spree, has prompted politicians across Europe to promise to probe for any links to him within him in 'right wing' groups across Europe.
That may well be a prudent course of action, although all the evidence, which consists solely of his claim to be in a cell (when clearly it was him by himself), his 15 page 'manifesto' that he says took him 10 years to produce, and the pictures of him posing in a wet suit with a rifle etc, all strongly suggests that he is in fact a 'lone nutter' .... I personally wouldn't waste too much time looking for his imaginary friends .... He was a lone nutter.
His picture reminds me of the poses for 'Action Man'.
