Twits At War

Simon Danczuk became the Labour MP for the town of Rochdale after he unseated the Liberals in 2010, and in his posed portraits, he often seems to jutting his chin out in a Churchillian manner, possibly more in hope than expectation of matching that man's career. Rochdale has recently been in the news for being one of those towns, where large numbers of Muslim males (of Pakistani heritage, as the media like to describe it), groomed, drugged and raped dozens (and possibly hundreds, evidence is still coming to light), of non Muslim, mainly white girls, many of whom were in council care or supervision.

To his credit Mr Danczuk exposed what a scum-bag the late Liberal MP for Rochdale, Cyril Smith was, who also coincidentally groomed and raped youngster, this time boys ... but he has maybe been far less vocal on the subject of Pakistani men grooming and raping white girls in his town, although he might disagree with that idea. The constituency is 19% Muslim, and the seat is marginal ..... Mr Danczuk has been photographed at various events in the run up to the forthcoming election .... many have been with Pakistani heritage community leaders, and one of these photo ops was at the raising of the Pakistani flag over the Town hall in Rochdale, which he Twittered to the world.

The Tweet That Started The Tiff

This fact was noted by the right-wing(?) newspaper columnist Katie Hopkins, who re-twittered it (if these are the right terms), remarking along the lines that she considered the flag raising it to be in very bad taste, considering what had gone in that town with Pakistani heritage men and local girls .... he responded, and after a few more twitter posts flew into the ether, including one by her referencing his 'accidental' pornography disclosure ....

Twitter Wars

.... Mr Danczuk then reported Ms Hopkins to the police, claiming she had 'incited racial hatred' in her Rochdale tweets.

Danczuk Versus Hopkins .... Two Ideological Gladiators

He justified this dirty pool (in Twitter terms, where trolling is par for the course), by saying "Rochdale is a very cohesive community - people work well together. Of course there are tensions, like there are in other communities, but people rub together really well and we don't need outsiders like Katie Hopkins to come in and cause trouble just for the sake of causing trouble and creating Sun headlines."

Now I may be old fashioned, but I would have thought this was a very fine line to tread, as she was referring to known events, and I wasn't aware that re-telling the truth is now considered 'incitement to racial hatred', except maybe in New Labours 'la la' land of happy migrants and natives, living together side by side in harmony. Oh, and maybe in any marginal Labour seat, where the 'Pakistani heritage' vote is key?

She has not publicly responded to his reporting her to the police, probably waiting to see if the police are going to act (strangely the  police still haven't arrested anyone for intimidating Nigel Farage's family, but that's another story)  .... but who knows what they may do, in this dark hour for holding a public opinion or retelling the truth in the UK?

Of course this sort of publicity is also dangerous politically, for while it may prise a few more of the 'Pakistani heritage' votes from going to the Islamic 'Respect party', it may just as easily alienate white labour voters in the town. The fact is that Muslim Pakistani heritage men did rape non Muslim children in an organised manner in the town. So if, when dozens, hundreds, or thousands of girls are being gang raped in Iraq, Syria (or even Bosnia if you reverse the religions), it is described as a 'war crime', then when it happens in the UK and the victims are non Muslims, why is it brushed under the carpet, and the Labour Councils and MP's where these crimes invariably occurred, just carry on as though nothing happened?

Furthermore, Mr Danczuk has found Rochdale now being scrutinised over its radicalised Muslim element following the news that the nine wannabe Jihadists, recently arrested in Turkey while trying to get into rebel Syria, were all from Rochdale, including the son of the Labour Rochdale councillor Shakil Ahmed. It says a lot about the mind set of some Labour politicians, when they consider it to be 'inciting racial hatred', to even mention that these things are happening, and when they prefer to stick to the refraint that 'Hey ho we are all rubbing along nicely and don't need outsiders commenting on events' or words to that effect eh Mr Danczuk?

Still, there's always his selfie loving wife to cheer him up ....

Selfie Queen

Oh just a second, what will his 'good friends' think about his wife, posting her now infamous 'selfies', and highlighting her undoubtedly ample charms on the Internet? Usually men of 'Pakistani heritage' think women should be covered up, never seen, and never heard.

This really is going to be a long election campaign, if this is the flavour of what's to come ...

  1. Well she has now split with him as well, and is desperately courting a 'celebrity career' based on her sexuality or tits or both ....'I'm bisexual... I admit it': Labour's selfie queen Karen Danczuk

So maybe he won't have much to comfort him there either.
