So the fact that highly paid air force fighter pilots indulge in them is not really much of a surprise. After all boys will be boys, and men never really grow up in this area.
The pilot of a US Navy Boeing EA-18G Growlers used the jet's contrail to draw a giant male appendage in the sky's over Okanogan County in the western US state of Washington.

US Navy officials from the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island have said it was
"From a Navy standpoint, we do hold our aircrew to the highest standards and this is absolutely unacceptable". ..... they carried on to add that
"It [the stunt] has zero training value and the aircrew is being held accountable."
The Federal Aviation Administration was less po faced, and merely said that the manoeuvre did not appear to have posed a safety risk, and that they
"cannot police morality" .... And of course its FunEee with a capital F and E.
However, this is not the first of these aeronautical jokes. In 2015 a man piloting a private plane drew a massive penis in the skies over Florida’s
Disney World using GPS flight data.

Oh and if you think this is a just a Yank thing .... then think again. In August 2017, an RAF fighter pilot drew a 35-mile penis on radars monitoring skies over Lincolnshire, England.
