A survey by Anglian Home Improvements has found that many men are being forced to keep their belongings in the garden shed .....
... This is because their female partners take up two-thirds of of the space in the household with their belongings.
The average man is allocated just three drawers and one third of the wardrobe space for his clothes but in about 10 per cent of households the man is only allowed just a single shelf to call his own inside the main habitation. The garden shed is used by 18 per cent of men to store many of their items.
Twenty eight per of the men surveyed complained about the the amount of stuff and the space in the house it takes up .... but ironically their female partners complain that men are the main culprits when it comes to cluttering up the place. Six per cent said that they have considered leaving because of their partners clutter, while a whopping eighty eight per cent wished that their partner was better organised.
Many women (twenty per cent), admitted to secretly throwing out their partners clothes because 'they didn't suit them' ... at the extreme of this, sixteen per cent admitted that they binned their partners clothes or footwear because their 'very existence annoyed me'.
It appears the the battle of the sexes is still being fought, red in tooth and nail in the privacy of many households ..... and its the men who are getting their asses whupped.
