| Alaskan River Monster .... Or Not? |
.... and recently my attention my attention was brought to these videos.
Alaska's Bureau of Land Management posted a video of what they dubbed the "Chena River Ice Monster," that quickly racked up thousands of views as forteans everywhere received 'monster' search alerts from their search engine of choice.
Experts at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game chimed in to their colleagues post. It was they said, nothing biological, just river junk. Specifically, the bureau said in a Facebook update that the thing was "frazil ice stuck to a rope, that is probably caught on a bridge pier.”
The natural phenomenon of frazil ice occurs during bursts of cold. Instead of forming a crust, the small and supercooled disks mix into flowing rivers and streams, giving the water a slushy appearance. There’s ice, but no monster.
So now we come to the Philadelphia 'Cloud Creature' .... or plastic bag.
A video allegedly shot in Philadelphia shows what appears to be a strange mini cloud or creature above 7th and Tioga Streets in 2015. There is no 'official' comment on this one .... guesses range from semi inflated clear balloons, to plastic bags or even industrial soap bubbles. So I guess you can see what you want in this .... even helium balloon creatures
A real Pterosaur or video fake?
A real Pterosaur or perhaps the legendary 'Thunderbird', flying over Boise, Idaho, USA in 2015, or just a video fake ... we can all hope. Of course thunderbirds have been reported over the USA for many years .... but that doesn't make them real.
The Austrian cave creature or video hoax?
This one made me laugh ... its actually possibly a real thing (but maybe not), but to me, it was moving a bit like a bat, possibly behind some ice, being lit up by the camera lights .... but you make your own minds up ... certainly its odd.
And lastly the Dire Wolf or bloody big dog.
..... another just possible survivor from 10,000 years ago .... or maybe just a very big normal wolf or wolf/dog hybrid.
Of course there are real survivors from the age of dinosaurs walking amongst us .... they are called birds, amphibians, and reptiles.
