More Than A Woman?

Recently I have written again about us not learning the lessons of history.

Death Of Robespierre ... A Lesson From History
Death Of Robespierre ... A Lesson From History

Its a pity that some of the pressure groups who seem to believe that they run the Western world don't mark those words.

If they had perhaps, one of the most important of those lessons is that those at the vanguard of revolutions, either social or political, should be careful of not being consumed themselves in the same manner .... for instance, both Robespierre and Trotsky were both killed by their fellow revolutionaries.

So I couldn't hide a smirk when I recalled the time when the LGBT women tennis players turned on Mrs Margaret Court, over her views on lesbianism in the game  ..... They were all quick to attack a great former champion, whose views didn't mirror their own.

Well now it seems that Martina Navratilova, an 18-times Grand Slam winner, and one of the cheerleaders of the anti-Margaret court brigade, has also found herself fallen foul of those same critics, after she wrote that it was "cheating" to allow transgender women, to compete in women's sport, as they had unfair physical advantages i.e. Men's Muscles.

Specifically she wrote: "A man can decide to be female, take hormones if required by whatever sporting organisation is concerned, win everything in sight and perhaps earn a small fortune, and then reverse his decision and go back to making babies if he so desires. It's insane and it's cheating. I am happy to address a transgender woman in whatever form she prefers, but I would not be happy to compete against her. It would not be fair."

Cue a torrent of outrage from trans-groups and individuals Athlete Ally, sacked her from its advisory board and as an ambassador, while Rachel McKinnon, who last year became the first transgender woman to win a world track cycling title in the women's competition, called the comments "disturbing, upsetting and deeply transphobic". Noticeably not 'untrue' though.

That fact is of course is the simple truth, but as this upsets all those femen with the muscles of men, but the breasts of women, its forbidden to point out that sometime soon the women's winners podiums will be filled with biological men.

Then of course there are those, whom nature has determined should be very close to manhood, like Caster Semenya, who has achieved an athletics women's world title, despite grave doubts being expressed about her exact biological nature.

Caster Semenya - More Than A Woman?
More Than A Woman?

The Olympic 800m champion, she is currently appealing against a IAAF regulation restricting testosterone levels in female runners, being set at a level to "protect the sanctity of fair and open competition". She of course is testing at a testosterone level far higher than the figure being proposed.

What makes all this funny, is that in order to accommodate the odd sexuality of a very small number of athletes, the PC brigade are likely to destroy the sports for natural women* .... I can recall all those Soviet era 'women' athletes who ruined women's events from the 1960's through to the 1980's ... setting records that no other women could get near.

.... you reap what you sow, when you learn no lessons from the past..

*Under guidelines introduced in 2016, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allows athletes transitioning from female to male to participate without restrictions. Male to female competitors, however, are required to have kept their levels of testosterone - a hormone that increases muscle mass - below a certain level for at least 12 months.

Update: These rules have been tightened across many sports as its been decided that men who go through puberty male have considerable muscle advantages when they trans to women.

The attacks on the great woman tennis player Margaret Court have continued by the LGBTALPHABETSOUP trolls.

  1. People are a problem!

Perhaps all competitions should be played in Virtual Reality so that all personal advantages can be ruled out with algorithms. Then again how to avoid the big crush on the finish line?

    2. "But we have to recognise that the average difference between men and women is far smaller than between the weakest and strongest woman, or the shortest and tallest woman."

Maybe we should accept the differences between people of the same gender.
