As anyone who visits here often enough will find .... we at PC Towers are very fond of the real superhero stories ...

..... in fact as you can see from the previous post, we normally devout entire posts to these little gems, which go from the sublime to the ridiculous in about equal measure ... the last one being in the ridiculous range. 

Superman Flys To The Rescue

Anyone who visits this Blog knows that I never turn away from a Superhero story .... there are Ninjas, Darth Vaders, various Spidermen, Ninja Turtles, Self made super heroes, Batman and others ..... but I think I've only had the man of steel once, yes, Superman!

Apparently his alter ego in this instance wasn't mild the mannered Clark Kent, but the more proactive Luke Junior. He was wearing the distinctive blue and red caped outfit, as he took part in a charity fund-raising event outside a shop, when he happened to notice a shop lifter with his swag, running out of the store and being chased by staff.

He rushed across and apprehended the thief and made a citizen’s arrest.

Faster Than A Speeding Bullet - Superman To The rescue

The families in the street cheered his heroics, and while the man was arrested and taken away in handcuffs, the Superman theme music was played in the background over the charity event’s PA system.

"When the adrenaline finally stopped, then I realised I was still dressed as Superman and I've not lived it down since," Mr Junior said.

As any visitor to this site knows, I love Super Hero / Super Villain stories from around the world, and indeed posted one such story recently. So its not going to be a big surprise that when I came across another such tale, it quickly appears here.

Princess Fiona Hulk?

Apparently this err, lady, allegedly attacked a teenage girl outside a McDonald's restaurant in York at 3 am in the morning on Saturday the 4th of May, in what was described as an unprovoked attack. The victim was left with a black eye and bruising and police are looking for this raging hulk of a woman.

Just a pity that Super Heroes like Batman or Spiderman don't really patrol our streets ..... or do they?

More Superheroes - Ninjas Attack Muggers

Following our recent run of stories about 'Super Heroes' saving the day, comes this epic tale of 'derring do' with trainee Ninja's saving a German tourist being mugged in an alleyway.

Three muggers in Australia were assaulting a German medical exchange student in Sydney, but as the alleyway where they struck was next to a school for ninja warriors, their attack was interrupted by five black-clad ninja warriors who had heard the commotion.

Unfortunately the victim still suffered minor injuries, and the men stole his mobile phone and iPod, according to police who say they have arrested two men and charged them with robbery, and are still looking for a third suspect ....... We could do with more of these stories!

Spider Man Again (Daily Bugle)

Once again, the so called 'webbed wonder' (although as we have stated before, we prefer 'masked menace'), has been creating mayhem, this time in the environs of one of our allies cities, Adelaide in Australia.

He arrested an (Ed: obviously innocent) browsing shopper, assisted by his dangerous friends, a group of 'Jedi Knights', who blocked the door to prevent the thief (aka 'a shopper') from escaping, as 'The Flash' looked on.

"Yesterday, the so called 'webbed wonder' (although we prefer masked menace ..... have you seen the damage his fights cause to our fine city?) was finally brought to justice this week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He was apparently stocking up on spider venom when he was caught with at least 1,000 live spiders in his luggage, and faces up to a year in prison and a maximum fine of £1.4m ($2.3m). We trust that this will finally bring an end to his reign of mayhem in New York city. Byline: Jonah Jameson Daily Bugle New York"
