As usual, the millions of Armenians murdered by the Turks in the first world war, or even the organised attempt to eradicate the Greeks in the 1950's are just ignored, but should anyone attack Muslim's, then its 'genocide'. The fact that the 'genocide of the Armenians' is generally recognised by the rest of the world, (needless to say, the spineless UK government is not one of them), just makes the Turks claims all the more hollow.
Turkeys treatment of the Kurds (its last minority group left after its eradicated all the others), is actually worse than the Chinese treatment of the Uigur Turks, but then again Turkish arrogance wouldn't recognise that either.
It's this constant Muslim claim to special treatment from non Muslims, whilst they continue to mete out such horrors to us, that makes it such unattractive creed, but from the Turks its all the more galling, because they claim to be adhering to European moral values, but are so obviously not.
The day we allow them into the EU is the end of the idea of 'Western Culture' for us all.
Turkish attacks on the Syriac Churches,
ReplyDeleteArmenians and Greeks have been successful in eradicating all these groups within the last 50 years.
Where once about 20% of Turkey was Christian, now its less than 1% non Muslim. Even as recently as 1978 the Syriac Church Seminary was closed after nearly 2,000 yrs. The old Armenian churches (the oldest in the world)
are destroyed even though many are priceless architectural sites of World historic interest. Even the graveyards are bulldozed.
No Archaeologists are allowed to excavate or record them before the bulldozers arrive, and history is being rewritten to ensure Turkey was
always ‘Muslim’ – the West says and does nothing, for fear of offending the Muslims or Turkey, and a brilliant past is destroyed.
What’s the difference between this and the Taleban destruction of Buddhist statues in Afghanistan and Pakistan?
When they start destroying the Vatican or St Paul’s in the next century will the politicians who brought Islam into the heart of Europe because of PC politics be ashamed at the destruction of an entire civilisation by
these barbarians?
Or will they be urging the US to turn a blind eye as millions of Muslims pour into their country demanding subservience?
Sorry, I missed your comment, apologies! Of course your right, the ethnic/religious cleansing of Non Muslims from their lands, whilst emigrating in to Christian lands has been going on for a century. It won't end well.
