Illegals Or Migrants .... They Are Not Heading To Paradise |
Apart from immediate humanitarian concerns over preventing drownings, where does the limit of European responsibility to these people lie ... is it to take in 10 million, or 100 million, before the liberals would start to think it was too many?
What happens when the numbers, of often Muslim migrants, change Europe into a non Europe?
Most of these migrants come from countries, which demanded independence, and the right to be able to throw Europeans and their western values out of their lands .... but now they want us to take care of them again. But not in their own benighted lands, which they and their fellows have ruined with their values, but in our lands. All while often still rejecting our cultural values and demanding that we accept their destructive values as equal to ours (see Muslims going to Syria and Iraq to join ISIL for examples).
Liberal hand wringing doesn't change the plain fact that Europe and the US can't take in everyone from these self made cesspit's, and still remain as they are now. There has to be a limit, and we are fast approaching it if complete antipathy is to be avoided.
I suppose that they become migrants when one puts oneself into their situation. What would we do differently if trapped in a backward, war torn country with better things just over the sea? Not everyone in these troubled areas are in accordance with, or responsible for the oppression or the corruption that's prevalent all around them. I'm sure that most of them are just trying to find a better life for themselves and their families in the most desperate of situations.
ReplyDeleteNot arguing ... but if for example 100 million arrive from Africa or the Middle East, how long before a better life doesn't exist here? Tower Hamlets shows that even 30% migration of a socially backward group can corrupt European standards and reduce a London Council to the corruption levels of a third world nation.
DeleteAs I said in the piece, Liberal hand wringing doesn't change the plain fact that we can't take millions of refugees from societies that are not naturally good fits with our own. We struggle to cope even with Eastern Europeans who share some commonality of history and religion and culture ... and yes, race.
Thanks for commenting Vroomfondel, it makes posting so much more interesting wondering what the response might be. Cheers NoPC
