Conspiracy Theories Cover Every Aspect Of Human Life ... |
The Islamic world for example has two main kinds of conspiracy theory doing the rounds:
The first and by far the most popular one is that the Jews, Israelis, Christians, Europeans, Americans (aka Great Satan), English (aka Little Satan), Hindu’s, Chinese, Buddhist’s and anyone else who is not a Muslim, is against their religion. This wouldn’t be true, except that in a sort of self fulfilling way the Muslims have now proceeded to Bomb and Kill members of every one of these groups, and thus ensured that it’s now at least partially true, and getting truer by the day.
The second is that their own government is tracking every thought that they make and will kill them to shut them up. Well oddly enough this seems to be true as well, with stories of Bloggers in the Arab world being arrested and imprisoned for saying things like “The government arrests bloggers they don’t like” …. See Abdel Kareem Soliman.
So don’t let anyone tell you that the main thrust of Islamic conspiracies is not true because they make sure that they are. However there are subsets within the Islamists conspiracies that don’t hold up as well.
These include the belief in Libya, that a bunch of Bulgarian nurses, led by a Palestinian doctor, travelled to Tripoli specifically to introduce AIDS into the country via 3 or 400 children. This is patently absurd, but is widely believed, despite the evidence of their own eyes on the squalor in Libyan hospitals. Or, the facts that raw sewage is pumped into the bay of Tripoli, making their capital stink like an open sewer, and that Col Gaddafi is often away in a tent in the desert to get away from that stink.
But enough of Islam and its nut cases, because for wild conspiracy theories, no group anywhere can beat the English speaking world, led by the Americans, but backed up ably by the UK and others. And I have found the King of Konspiracy web sites to prove it.
This is a gem of a site and needs preserving for the world ..........
Yep, this rambling website claims to have them all listed … well if not claim, it certainly appears to try and list them all, and every one is true, so America Wake Up!
You are being run by those Bloody Brits, or the Royal Family or Aliens, or the Illuminati, or the Black Popes, or …. Well anyone except your own government.
A snippet that nicely illustrates this sites apparent depth is “B'nai B'rith (aka) Anti-Defamation League (ADL) - The ADL is not an arm of the Jewish community; but is an arm of a secret society, a branch of the Illuminati, known as B'nai B'rith, which is controlled by the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.”
Well I don’t know about you, but I was genuinely shocked to find that the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry was running a Jewish action group in the name of the Illuminati!
The interesting thing is that these groups are often mutually exclusive, after all the Order of the garter by which the Royal family control the US, can’t also be working hand-in-claw with a race of humanoid-sauropod reptilian beings (unless David Icke’s theory that the Queen is a reptile is true) whilst the Black Pope is surely not helping a Protestant Queen (reptile or no) control the US for opposite reasons …. Brilliant!
Oddly when I used the term Wake Up America, I didn't realise that this in itself was an entrée into another world of conspiracy sites.
The first Wake Up America site listed, is an Anti Muslim, the US is sleepwalking into another 9/11 attack kind of web site. Lots of "Patriotic Movies" of the 'these people want you and your family to die' kind. Just remember "Its not Paranoia if its true!"
The second Wake Up America site, is an anti Jewish, conspiracy site. The eternal Jew is running the US, swearing allegiance to a foreign power (Israel) and spying on the US. This is a mini gem of its kind. It has different size fonts and colours for lines, imagine an on-line letter from a lunatic, where they underline every IMPORTANT word and emphasise them, and use green, red and blue inks! If the author could write round the margin he would, but as he can't he makes every word Bold.
In the UK he would be under NHS therapy, but in the US he can't afford it, so he rants on-line after a busy day marching outside abortion clinics.
The term also calls up a series of pages and blogs of an evangelical Christian nature such as Americas Wake Up Call .... a "pro life" site. They should get in touch with the owner of the site above, he's got a bit of spare time.
And of course there are literally hundreds of "Patriotic" sites using this term, on everything from Waco, through Europe is turning into a Super Power, and on to the Muslim infiltration sites. All conspiracy theories of a kind.
This one Wake Up America, tries for several strands of Religious right wing, US under attack, demons, Aleister Crowley and the Greys and Uncle Tom Cobley and all. One of the better efforts.
I came across a new one the other day so I am adding it The Insider is a right-wing web page with a mixture of right wing politics and conspiracies ... well produced if crowded e.g. The Christopher Columbus prophecies or Templar rebels not satisfied with Vatican U-turn on heresy allegations as well as Project for the New American Century etc ... a heady brew.
Finally a plea to the editors of the Fortean Times .... bring back the Hierophant! This chronicler of the conspiracies and odder web elements was always funny, and he is sadly missed in his presumed retirement from the Fortress of Arrogance, to a bedsit on the south coast.
There are a few who still track the Konspiracy korners of the web but they are a little po-faced like The Lobster or are sadly swamped by the numbers who join the ranks of the insane on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteMaybe those who 'want to believe', are not very happy at a little stick turning the stones over and pointing out their absurdities?
