This year London has seen a spike in the number of reported stabbings and shootings (almost all of it Black on Black crime) which have seen it overtake New York in murder rates.
Now no one currently believes that this will remain this way for the whole year (although there is no reason why it shouldn't), but the political reaction to this has been pathetic. By this I mean that despite the stream of black faces being shown as both victims and perpetrators, the politicians (and media police), are trying to portray this as a general societal problem, rather than a major black gangster culture thing, which has been allowed to escalate out of control.
