This story on the BBC Website, about 'youths' having rioted in the southern Swedish city of Malmo, at first glance looks perfectly normal ....
Malmo Rioter |
..... and the headline and text hint that the "riots" are in some way similar in nature to the recent events in Greece.
But if you read it carefully you find that the story is full of PC newspeak code such as "immigrant neighbourhood", "linked to the closure of an Islamic centre" and various other clues that tell you that it was in fact violent rioting by illegal "Muslim immigrant and asylum seekers" with no good cause.
How I detest this 'newspeak' that the liberal press such as the BBC use to coyly tell us that the "fires", "extensive damage to public property", and "stone-throwing and bomb threats against police" were in fact Muslim radicals trying to intimidate the Swedish authorities into granting them something (as usual) that they hadn't earned e.g. another Mosque.
It takes the Swedish police spokeswoman's quote to explain the story "The origin of the riots is the occupation of the building. But that's not really the reason now, now other troublemakers have just joined in, taking advantage of the situation," police spokeswoman Ewa-Gun Westford told AFP.
You really cannot expect any balanced and objective news from the bbc.
ReplyDeleteYou will note bbc world and radio 4 this morning stated that - anti-gay people in California were voted in "with only a small majority". The bias is endemic in an institution where the lunatics have taken over the asylem.
Couldn't agree more, but if enough people point it out, maybe, just maybe, we can turn the tide of PC twaddle.
