When A Country Loses Control
Pakistan is playing a 'home' cricket fixture against Australia in Britain this summer, because its no longer possible to safely do so in Pakistan...... no matter how this is dressed up, it speaks volumes about the state of Pakistan today.

Moderation is on for older posts to stop spamming and comments that are off topic or inappropriate from being posted .... comments are reviewed within 48 hours. I don't block normal comments that are on topic and not inappropriate. Vexatious comments that may cause upset to other commentators, or that are attempting to espouse a particular wider political view, are reviewed before acceptance. But a certain amount of debate around a post topic is accepted, as long as it remains generally on topic and is not an attempt to become sounding board for some other cause.

Surely the Pakistan Cricket Board should be applauded for their forward thinking in allowing England an easy summer victory, by not playing the games in Pakistan. had the games been played there, then surely the series would have been reduced to a draw by the Duck & Lewis Method, thanks to the adverse weather conditions that would have prevented play. Obviously the Pakistan Cricket Board should maybe have passed on their advance weather forcast to the corrupt and inept Pakistan goverment.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been reduced to a home wuin when the England Cricket team were machine gunned mate.
