..... when a male voice came on the line and said that he was seeing to her, adding 'You're in prison, what you going to do about it?' .... well those were the wrong words.
When the night shift came on, the enraged prisoner sneaked out of Spring Hills jail, an open prison in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England ....
He was met by friends on motorbikes, and they rode the 70 miles to South London. They then beat up his ex-lady friends new boyfriend, got back on the motorbikes and rode back to Spring Hills jail, where the prisoner sneaked back in before the morning shift.
He thought he had carried out the perfect crime with a watertight alibi. But he was re-arrested that day, and moved to another more secure unit .... still, I'll bet the victim wished he hadn't uttered those famous last words.
