... the staff were preparing to open up when at around 11am one of them opened the walk-in freezer doors.
Only to be confronted by a man who had apparently been locked in it all
night. However rather than showing gratitude for his release, the man
snatched up a kitchen knife and firstly threatened, then attacked the staff,
trying to stab and slash them while shouting "Away Satan".
Other staff who heard the commotion, came and wrestled the man to the
floor and took away the knife .... during the struggle, the man lost
consciousness and went into cardiac arrest .... the police arrived, but
despite him being rushed to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Centre, he was
pronounced dead.

He was later identified as Carlton Henderson, of Cave Creek, Arizona, who had been awaiting trial for a double murder in Boston, Massachusetts, so a dangerous man, luckily none of the staff were injured, despite his attempts to stab them with the knife. He been released from jail on bail just four days prior to the Sunday morning’s incident. He had been arrested in Missouri, in April 2017, and charged with the 1988 homicides of William Medina, 26, and Antonio Dos Reis, 22, in Boston.
But according to the police, its not clear when or why he went into the freezer, or why he was in NYC. Nor why he thought Satan or his workers were attacking him in Sarabeths Restaurant. Of course its location near 'hells kitchen' may have something to do with it .....
