The Judgement Of The Law Has Long Been Considered An Ass .... |
..... but it has often involved the courts and tribunals in the UK. From judges praising the courage of burglars to the magistrate who decided that ignorance of the UK law was a valid defence for sexual assault.
But if ever there was one case alone that shows how corrupted by prison sentence reformers, our justice system has become, it must be the case of Theodore Johnson, a multiple killer. He has just pleaded guilty to the murder of his third victim, having served less than seven years in total for the killing of two previous partners.
He was born in Jamaica and moved to the UK in 1980 aged 27, committing his first murder in 1981 by first hitting his then-wife Yvonne, over the head with a vase before throwing her off a ninth floor balcony in Wolverhampton .... somehow this was accepted as 'manslaughter' (although how you accidentally throw someone off a balcony has to be a question of some doubt), and he was not sentenced to a 'life' but instead got sentence that attracted a lesser penalty. He was freed in 1986 .... yep, that first woman's life was worth just five years in prison in the opinion of the system. Apparently committing murder / manslaughter, wasn't grounds for deporting him back to his Jamaican homeland when released from prison ..... why the hell not?
Jamaican Three Time Murderer In UK |
Once out, and moving to London, he quickly went back to the same behaviour patterns of abuse of women, and after starting a relationship with another Yvonne, in 1992 he strangles Ms Bennett with a belt during a row at her flat. After calling the police, he apparently tried to hang himself from a tree and then gave himself up. For this killing he manages to avoid prison completely and just was subjected to a hospital order in 1993. Amazingly two years later he was discharged directly from a secure hospital directly in to the public again, with no prison time. So body count two, number of years in custody just five.
So apparently free to start up relationships with women again (despite supposedly being under psychiatric supervision), in December 2016, he strangled and battered his ex-girlfriend (she had tried to break out of the relationship), Angela Best, to death ..... this time, he apparently again decided that this was another killing too far and threw himself under a train shortly afterwards, but survived (minus a limb or two) ... funny how he always survives his suicide attempts.
We all presume that even the f*ckwits in the judiciary and medical profession, whose gullibility allowed this killing spree, will finally conclude that at the age of 64 he needs to be locked away for life, and for life to be life, not just 5 years this time round .... but you never know in the PC driven climate that allows these sorts of monsters to walk our streets.
An example of that PC driven climate and gullibility, is that after just 9 years in prison, sex attacker John Worboys has been slated for release by a parole board that was appointed by someone or other. He was convicted in 2009, of 19 charges of drugging and sexually assaulting 12 women passengers and one charge of rape. He was given an indeterminate sentence of imprisonment for public protection (IPPs), with a minimum of 8 years in prison, and told he would not be released until parole officials were convinced he did not pose a threat to women.
Well apparently after just 10 years served (including remand time), the parole board, headed by its Chairman Professor Nick Hardwick, have decided that he is no longer a threat to women ..... my arse, he's no threat .... would they leave him with their wives or daughters?
John Worboys - Beast. No Longer A Threat To Women? |
The Met Police revealed in 2010 that they suspected he had attacked more than 100 women between 2002 and 2008 but despite more women coming forward no further charges were placed on file by the Crown Prosecution Service. The charity Rape Crisis described Worboys period of incarceration as "woefully short" for such a "dangerous and manipulative perpetrator". The charity, Rape and Sexual Violence Project, said the decision to let him out after such a short time was "a massive failure of women who courageously went to the police in the first place and had then gone to court."
There is a massive disconnection between the public's wish to see proper punishment, and the systems unelected establishments, desire to set their own public policies, with no regard for the public's requirements.
Two murders too late, they give Johnson a 26 year sentence. Truly pathetic response. As you say they only look after themselves and their own views on policy. We can just go to he'll.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment as I wasn't aware that he had been sentenced. If they had given him a proper sentence the first time, maybe two women would still be alive.
DeleteAs for Worboys it seems the press have got their teeth in to the Labour Party elite who made the decisions around his lenient sentence and decision not to file more charges.
Patricia Scotland (Baroness Scotland), then Attorney General.
Sir Keir Starmer then Director of Public Prosecutions
as well as Tony Connell the CPS lawyer at the time.
Collective memory loss seems to infect them all when questioned about this case.
The row about Worboys release is rumbling on.
