In older times when your girlfriend asked you "does my bum look big in this?" The wrong answer was 'yes, big'.
However, from memory even giving the answer, 'no it looks fine', wasn't always the correct answer ....
Nowadays one possible answer to this impossible question is 'Kardashian' ... Meaning 'big', and is the correct answer for many women.
Department stores are stocking the Jasper Conran Shape Enhancing Jeans as £45 ($60) bottom-boosting jeans, inspired by Kim Kardashian's backside. Apart from anything else, it appears that Kim Kardashian has proven that big bums are big business.

Anything that democratises different body shapes is a good thing. For some reason though, the adoption of one or other attribute by the media tends to negate or demonise the others. Although for this to be true you have to give a sod what the fashion is this season.
