.... presumably these are of the type (or similar) to the ones we have discussed before.
In that story, a security flaw in the products software, that would allow hackers to potentially take control and lock the chastity belts ..... fortunately it was uncovered by a UK security firm and the company was informed before any hacker even thought to try and hack the devices software (I suspect that like me, Russian hackers had never even thought that such products existed, let alone could be hacked). This was back in 2021.Roll forward to late 2023, and it was reported that an unnamed provider of these strange devices in the USA had suffered a major data breach and hack. In this event the users of their devices email addresses, passwords, and GPS co-ordinates were taken. Sufficient information apparently to allow any hacker to control the devices and clamp them shut.
It was not reported if any mishap had befallen any of the users.
