A strange incident happened on September the 14th 2023, in San Bernardino, California ......

...... a white male drove into a parking lot of a Dollar King business (Like Poundland UK) in a white SUV.
He then got out of the vehicle, walked a few paces away, and placed a teddy bear on an empty space. He then walks rapidly away as the teddy bear starts smouldering, smoking, then ultimately explodes in a spectacular puff of smoke.

No damage was caused to any vehicles or buildings, and the man was uninjured, he then drove quickly away, but after reviewing the footage from the security cameras the police identified the SUV owner and a warrant was issued.
He was duly arrested, and a search of the man’s home turned up a so-called ghost gun, more than 200 rounds of ammunition, more than a kilo of methamphetamine with packaging for sales, illegal fireworks, a ballistic vest, cash and metal pipes and saws, consistent with explosive devices.
The Police Department said that the unnamed man was facing charges including "possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance for sale." They declined to say what his issue with teddy bears was.
