I had never heard of 'Three Kings Bread' before this story, and so I had to look it up ....
apparently its a fruitcake, which is traditionally eaten on the 6th of January to mark 'Three Kings Day', aka “El Día de los Reyes”, which is perhaps more properly known as 'Epiphany'.
