| Practical Joke Goes Bad |
...... is a ghost of a young woman who weeps for her two children who she drowned in revenge after her husband was seen with another young woman.
She can sometimes be like a Banshee, in that an appearance can signal the death of a child .... I was actually familiar with this ghost, as she appeared in an episode of the superior fantasy TV show 'Grimm.'
Now given the state of Mexico today, you would think that night time practical jokes in Mexico, would be something people would avoid, but as the saying goes 'there's always one'.
In this case the one was a practical joker, an unnamed 20 - 25 year old woman, who had taken to dressing up as La Llorona and playing a prank on her neighbours .... so when in Octobner 2021 she appeared in the streets of Naucalpan de Juarez in the costume, and crying 'Ay, mis hijos' [Oh my children], many residents just filmed her performance .... but then out of the darkness shots were fired, and she was hit by many bullets and killed.
Police were investigating, but it wasn't certain that anyone would be charged, as the possible killer(s) had fled. ...... Rather a sad commentary on modern Mexico ......
