In 2019 Steven Evans was a 56 year old former soldier (Royal Corps of Signals), who lived in town of Malvern in Worcestershire, England.

He also started acting rather strangely with respect to a local school.
Firstly he was warned by the police for impersonating a 'Lollipop Man' (|School road crossing assistant) near The Chase School, in Barnards Green, after he seized her lollipop stop sign and stopped traffic on the road, but undeterred by this brush with the law, he then took to wearing a pigs mask and jumping out at the children/teens as they walked to and from school.
He scared some younger kids to such an extent, that parents took to driving them to school themselves, even though the school is for the 11 - 18 age group, who would normally travel to school unescorted. The school even issued a letter to all parents warning of '.... a man acting strangely outside school ...'
Eventually the police arrested him, and the local magistrates issued a criminal behaviour order (CBO) banning him from wearing the pig mask in public, and he was also banned from talking to any unaccompanied children, or going near the school.
However in an unrelated matter, Mr Stephen Evans, appeared before magistrates on February the 14th 2020, having previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, of having assaulted a man and a woman on March the 16th 2019. 56 year-old Evans was found guilty at trial and magistrates handed him an 18-month conditional discharge and he was also ordered to pay £355 in costs and a victim surcharge, but no order for compensation was made to avoid "aggravating the situation between neighbours"
Now apart from the absurdly surreal nature of this man behaviour, you might have suspected that he was possibly building up to a more serious offence if his pattern of behaviour continued in the same manner .... however I have looked, and he has not reappeared in any news reports for further offences,
