.... The elephant in the room of every debate on the carnage, is the complete silence on the racial aspect of this knife crime surge.
The majority of both the victims, and also the perpetrators, are of African or Afro-Caribbean origin, and in numbers way out of proportion to their percentage of the overall community .....that's just the reality. But you wouldn't know it from the public discussion.
The vast majority of the male perpetrators are almost certainly from single parent (mothers or grandmothers) black households. The politicians and media's refusal to discuss this racial/cultural aspect, means that the problem simply can't be addressed meaningfully. Political Correctness is the root of the complete failure to address the issues.
Quite obviously the metaphorical river Tiber, really is now running red, and it is this wave of black on black murders, that are making it obvious that some males in that community are now out of control in London (and elsewhere), and that parenting via single women households fails. As the Reverend Jasper Williams Jr. said at Aretha Franklins funeral in September 'A black woman cannot raise a black boy to be a man'. While we are talking as frankly as he did, let us also be honest and admit that, we now have the same societal issues as the USA ....
The image above lists just some of the 100 plus killed this year so far, in what is a record year of murders in our capital. There is obviously a correlation between police Stop and Search figures for ethnic minorities in London, and the rise in knife crime amongst those same communities, but I couldn't find any comparative figures, so just the England and Wales figures ....
So the questions now are, how do we stop it, and why are boys from some communities and ethnic backgrounds, so attracted to the gang and weapons culture?

The killings continue .... a black male stabbed a white girl, 17-year-old Jodie Chesney to death in east London in an apparently motiveless killing. She is the 18th person to be killed in London in 2019 and the fifth teenage death.

Not much has changed in the three years since I posted this. Since then, we have had both the Black Lives Matter and WOKE activists preaching to the white population, that the black problem is 'white racism', not the failings of the black community (especially its generally absent males) to teach their boys to be real men and work, not gang members.
ReplyDeleteThe truth of the matter is out there for anyone who cares to bother to look for it, and to then be honest about what they are seeing. But the BLM and Woke brigade are not 'awoke' to 'facts', and are in fact political movements not social reformers, and that they are not interested in addressing the real issues around black lives, but prefer instead to attack historical white figures, and blame all black problems on the rest of the population.
In this they are aided by white, and especially black politicians, who are too scared of the 'racism' storm or black voter backlash that any comment attracts, to even address the realities of what's going on, by pointing out the obvious, which is that most black communities are blighted by gangs, who are way too quick to use weapons. That virtually all black people killed in the last three of four decades, have been killed by other black people. That the police don't go round routinely killing black people. That education and hard work are the way in which all immigrant communities rise socially in our society.
The media in the meantime has done nothing either, preferring to not state the obvious, while routinely printing the pictures both of the black victims, and their perpetrators, so that while the population get the idea, they are not allowed to discuss it, so the subject remains under a media self censorship that stops it being addressed.
Meanwhile the advertising industry has gone WOKE overboard. So now seemingly every advert has one or more black faces (despite them only making up 5 per cent of the population), preferably as part of a mixed race relationship (blonde white women with black partner and his kids preferred), of any sexuality. Its got so that if you didn't look out the window to check you would not think this was Britain .... I know a lot of men now who simply record TV shows and skip over adverts now to avoid this new view of 'Britain'.
