from Winchester University, in an admittedly limited study, interviewed
30 straight male students ....
.... and found that many men prefer 'Bromance' over 'Romance' .... or if you like 'Mates' to mates.
Not homosexuality, but rather the social company of males to females .... in Australia this is called Mateship.
When questioned, 28 said they would rather discuss emotional issues with male friends, and that they find their male best mate friendships aka 'bromances', more emotionally rewarding than their romantic relationships with women. The key to this seemed to be a universal acceptance amongst the 28 men questioned, that male friends were far less judgemental than their romantic partners were.

Brits aged 18 to 30 spend an average of 10 hours a week looking for love, according to dating site Badoo. Well apart from the fact that its obviously a loaded survey, are they sure we are not talking about sex, not love?
