.... the signs of this are all around me, for instance I don't watch any 'celebrity' or reality TV shows, because these skanky so called celebrities, and non-reality stars are totally unknown to me.
But apparently there are other ways in which you can know that your over the hill, or not living with the times, well, at least according to a 2021 poll of 2,000 millennials, run by retailer Love Energy Savings.
The respondents
said that if you:
- Still get bills in the post (25 per cent of millennials were horrified).
- Still pay for goods and services by cash (28 per cent of millennials were horrified).
- Talk to people on the phone.
- Still use a Facebook account.
- Still smoke cigarettes.
- Date people in real life (I'm not sure how millennials actually expect to procreate).
- Going to Church (I assume that PC considerations prevent other religions being mentioned).
- Writing lists with a pen and paper.
- Calling music tunes 'banging'.
- Ringing for a taxi (Is there an App?).
- Wearing skinny jeans.
- Having a hankie tucked up your sleeve (28 per cent of millennials were horrified).
- Having posh cutlery for special occasions (24 per cent of millennials were still horrified).
- Using a camera, instead your phone to take pictures.
The poll commissioners said that "Today's millennials are left scratching their heads by behaviour that was par for the course - like watching conventional broadcast TV, and actually using your mobile phone to talk to someone."
Now I don't know about you, but it looks as though these millennials are a very judgemental group ... especially as its the older people who outnumber them.
