Twelve percent of the global recreational drug users, come from the USA, a figure that means that three times the proportion of the U.S. population use drugs, compared to those of the rest of the world.  

Cocaine Usage Has A Blood Price

Studies in 2021 showed that about 19.4 percent of Americans have used illegal substances at least once in their life .... and that within the age range 12 and older, 31.9 million Americans are drug users, with 11.7 percent regularly using illegal substances and around 19.4 percent either having consumed illicit drugs or misused prescription drugs in 2020.

None of these figures will have decreased in the following three or four years. The principal drugs used or consumed as recreational aids in the USA, are alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, fentanyl, opioids (mainly referring to psychotropic substances under control e.g. Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), Phencyclidine, Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Methaqualone, and designer drugs (MDMA, DMT, etc)), prescription stimulants, methamphetamine and heroin .... according to the U.S. National Centre for Drug Abuse Statistics (NCDAS)

Such is the extent of the drug crisis in the USA, that a small bag of cocaine was even found in the White House on the 2nd of July 2023 (the secret service was unable to find who had brought it in after lab results failed to turn up any latent fingerprints or DNA, so agents closed the investigation), but the fact that someone thought cocaine so 'normal' that they could take it into the Presidents official residence, indicates how far the drug culture has permeated American society.

We in the UK are no better .... Global use of cocaine has surged and hit record levels in 2025, and we in the UK have the world's second highest rate of cocaine use, after the USA. Evidence suggests that we are using evermore of the drug, and that the UK consumes about 117 tonnes of cocaine annually, and of course are the biggest cocaine market in Europe, with seizures by customs rising annually. In fact we are the cocaine market of choice in Europe, with the cocaine market worth around £11bn ($14.2bn) pa, and criminal gangs make about £4bn a year profits in the UK alone.

But the drug users in the West often ignore the cost in blood and misery, that their snort of cocaine or crystal of methamphetamine contains (both of which are either made in or distributed via Mexico) .... For instance Mexico’s National Statistics Institute said that *officially there were 32,223 killings in 2022, with the country’s homicide rate at 25 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2022. *This only counts the bodies found, the number of undiscovered mass killings or well disposed bodies are not known.

Studies show that less than 4 percent of criminal investigations are ever solved in Mexico, and about 92 percent of crimes went unreported in 2022, with similar rates in 2023. What this means is that on average in 2022 there were 88 murders a day in Mexico .... at least 25 percent of these are likely drug cartel related, which means for every body turning up at the side of a lonely road in rural Mexico, is likely linked to a packet of cocaine being sold under a nightclub table thousands of miles away in New York or London.

The global conflict tracker ACLED, reported for example that there were 614 Mexican fatalities linked to the drug wars in the first four weeks of 2022 alone .... so that could mean around 8,000 killed by the cartels in that year (so 22 per day) .... the scale of the drug related violence is almost beyond belief, but estimates suggest since the Mexican war on drugs war officially began in 2006, it is thought to be at least 150,000 plus killed (no one knows the exact figure). That figure does not include the 100,000 people officially missing or disappeared as of mid-2022.

Ecuador President Daniel Noboa (the transit country of South America due to the Albanian Mafia, despite not being a cocaine manufacturer), after January 2025 781 murders (mostly dug related), said "What's fun for one person [in the UK] probably involves 20 homicides along the way." 

Cocaine Users Have Blood On Their Hands

So if you are a user of drugs, especially cocaine in the West, you certainly have blood and misery on your hands, and every £Pound, $Dollar, $Aus, or €Euro spent on your 10 minutes of recreational 'fun,' has financed murders, torture, rapes and forced prostitution, slavery and official corruption.
