British History, BBC Version

The BBC likes to set the social agenda in the UK ... it always takes a left leaning PC agenda on social issues, and without being asked or invited, generally acts as an extension of the Labour Parties polices.

Nothing illustrates this more than when it rewrites British history or myth, to fit its own agenda. e.g. TV adaptations of  the 'Merlin', 'King Arthur' or 'Robin Hood' stories, which now routinely feature African characters, despite their complete absence from the original stories. Even the "Black Knight" wasn't black in the stories I read.

Of course if you attempted to rewrite the myths of Africans, and put in white characters where none had existed before, then there would be an outcry, not least the from the BBC itself, so immigrants are left with their culture and traditions intact. Its only the British (sorry English) history, culture or myths that can be changed to fit the BBC's world view, because now that I think of it, William Wallace and Owen Glendower would never be rewritten either, as the Scots and Welsh are also minorities in the BBC world view as well.

Its frightening how so very little that the BBC does in support of its unelected agenda, is ever challenged anymore. Its almost as if the last thirty or forty years of left wing agenda being daily beamed out, has dulled the sensibilities of those who should be challenging the BBC.

Oh for a Mrs Mary Whitehouse to ride out like a modern day Don Quixote to tilt at the giant that is the BBC ... however the writings on the wall for the BBC, as its funding by both the taxpayer and non taxpayer via the 'TV Licence' is increasingly under threat.

UN human rights commissioner Navi Pillay has organised an "Anti-Racism" forum and was then "shocked", when a lot of Western nations pulled out. They said there was no point in going, because it was just an excuse for Islamic countries to attack rich Non Muslim countries (as it had been the last time one of these forums had been held), especially as the prime speaker was to be President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran.

It should also be noted that these attacks, are usually against the "white colonialists" i.e. those who give three quarters of world aid, but get abused for not doing even more, or "The Zionists" as Israel is called by Muslims. It appears that in some minds, only Whites and Jews are 'racists', and things like the Indian "caste system", or the world wide eradication of 'Christians' (or 'crusaders' as the local mob will call them), from Muslim lands etc, are not racist.

Finally, someone in the West has woken up to attempts in the UN to allow anyone who criticises Islam to be arrested, and to exempt these arrests from being attacks on "Free Speech", because this forum, at the request of middle eastern nations, still contains a clause in the declaration, about the incitement of religious hatred (i.e. criticising Islam).

Many Western countries see this as a curtailment of free speech, and cite this as another reason not to attend (although the UK seems not to be one of them, as we are sending a delegation).

Why is positive discrimination not discrimination?

The PC world still has one card it has to play against the white male …“Positive Discrimination” … yep we have already had “All Women” lists, and now we are to have “All Black” lists.

So why is that, if a white male said he wanted to do something that banned any female or non white male, he would go to jail, but women can insist on all women lists, and now blacks can insist on black only lists, but that’s not racist, somehow?

Interestingly if a white woman tried for some constituencies under these proposals, unless she was black she would be refused. However, maybe as a double jeopardy, black females would have twice the chance on an all black shortlist…. So twice the chance of another Dianne Abbott or Dawn Butler or Oona King … thrilling.

Interestingly, for most of the 19th century, Jews and Catholics were actively banned from certain occupations, including standing for parliament (a situation which has never applied to black people), but the only ‘positive’ discrimination they needed was the removal of the ban. They then made it on their own merits.

Blacks (and some women it seems), appear to need to be given protected jobs in order to get on …. Or maybe it’s just that they are not prepared to do the work that a white male generally has to (political advisers excepted), in order to get selected as a candidate MP e.g. 10 yrs as a councillor and maybe 20 yrs as a party activist?

Now, as discussed on this site, the whole non white population of the UK is only 8% according to the latest survey (2001), the ethnic mix in the UK is White 92.1% (English 83.6%, Scottish 8.6%, Welsh 4.9%, Northern Irish 2.9%) Black 2%, Indian 1.8%, Pakistani 1.3%, Mixed 1.2%, Other 1.6%

As there are a total of 646 MP's, then 8% of them is 51 cross party (not 51 labour only, as the story implies), so are we going to apply a ceiling on the number of non white MPs, restricting it to 51? What then, should Afro Caribbean’s be allowed to only have 13 MP's and 12 Indians and 11 Pakistani’s etc etc until everyone is happy?

Where does it end, proportional representation by list to ensure that every group got its chance, but what about sexual preference, 2.5% of the population is gay, are they part of lists or are they a separate ‘racial’ group?

Obviously the next logical step is to insist on lesbian only or homosexual only short lists for constituencies.

What a farce, its no wonder that active democracy is all but dead, when the majority who do not support these political laws, are ignored to favour a political elite who no longer care what the majority want.

How can I prove this well just look at law and order, prison, hanging, immigration, and state benefits, and then look at how the MP’s vote against the public's wishes.
