  ... Western Europe losing its culture and identity, as mass immigration from another culture takes place.  Now this is somewhat ironic, considering that they are both married to immigrant, or first generation immigrant family wives themselves.

But, that aside, possibly because the vast majority of these illegal immigrants, are seen by many Europeans to be Muslim men of fighting age, with a non integrating culture, and with low employment prospects, those remarks have generally received some sympathy on the political Right across the continent (and the UK), but not much comment on the political Left ... however this issue is affecting voters choices across the continent and the UK. 

However, as a follower of US politics, I have noticed that despite the alleged massive Minnesota welfare fraud involving Somali immigrants (whom Trump has said he doesn't want in the USA), there has still been a noticeable increase in Muslim names featuring in the political nomination battles being currently fought across the USA, before the mid-terms.

After New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a Muslim, won his primary and the post .... much to the ire of President Trump, in Minnesota, despite the alleged frauds, current Congress representative Ilhan Omar also won her Democratic primary, with a landslide, taking 80.7 percent of the Democrat members vote, for a possible fifth term in the House of Representatives. Other Muslim incumbents of the House of Representatives seeking re-election are Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Andre Carson of Indiana, and Lateefah Simon of California. New participants in the process include Adam Hamawy, who has won the Democrat primary in New Jersey.

In State elections, in California, state Senator Aisha Wahab, won her House primary, and she joins the estimated more than 230 Muslim Americans, who now hold elected office, in the country the highest number recorded, but a number which will only rise in the following decades such as Melissa Chaudhry, who is running for Congress in Washington. Elsewhere, Abdul El-Sayed won the Democrat nomination for the Senate in Michigan, which like Minnesota, is also a state with a large Arab and Muslim population, and that's also considered a potential swing state in November. NB: There have never been any Muslim Senators in the USA so far. 

Dearborn Michigan Has Seen Religious Tensions Rise

Michigan is also a state where Dearborn (pop: 105,000 to 107,000 residents) is believed to be a Muslim majority city with 54.5% to 55% of the population of Middle Eastern / North African origins, and has a Muslim mayor, Abdullah Hammoud (who has caused some controversy), and where religious tensions are rising. Its also the state where the smaller city of Hamtramck (bordered on three sides by Detroit), also has 39.2% of the population being reported as of Middle Eastern or North African ancestry, out of a city population of around 28,433, so its a sizeable small city.  

Hamtramck also gained national notoriety, as the first U.S. city with an all-Muslim local government. More bad publicity was provoked, when the new Democratic Mayor, Amer Ghalib's post-election party was attended by men only, as segregation of the sexes is traditional in Muslim cultures (and obviously in Hamtramck Muslim circles as well), but not so in America generally ... but that didn't stop them doing it.

Now in the US, immigrants are supposed to integrate to the established cultural norms, to chase the American dream, and not follow alien values. So as Hamtramck also now has an all-male Yemeni and South Asian descent elected government, its government obviously does not reflect the cities general makeup, sex identities, and racial profiles. Nor does it reflect the cities cultural or religious disposition, nor its general demographic makeup ... so a sign of things to come?

If I was Trump and Vance, I would stop looking at Europe and its problems, and look at Dearborn  and Hamtramck and see the future of the USA.
