..... what else can we deduce from the news reports that US Intelligence staff at the Pentagon, were sending emails in error to a foreign state that not only wasn't an ally, but actively antagonistic to the USA?
According to the stories in July 2023, US military staff had inadvertently been sending millions of emails directly to the African country of Mali (which is an ally off and with close military ties to Russia).

This was because the American Military email addresses end with the suffix .mil while the Mali addresses end with the suffix .ml ..... and its the i's that have it. Those that don't go to Mali. Clumsy mistypes were the cause of the problem ..... but what really surprised me about this was that:
- They weren't alerted by mailer daemon automated messages that informed all these the senders when an email they sent could not be delivered, as surely the email addresses being sent to wouldn't match like for like e.g. Col.Smith@mail.mil (First.Last@mail.mil) was unlikely to go to someone in Mali called Col.Smith@mail.ml?
- That they didn't have email software that inserted .mil automatically whenever the .m was entered?
With staff like this, your enemies really don't need spies.
