Nicholas St Clair was jailed for three years in February 2015 for blackmail.

..... after he had taken his 'friend'
hostage, and attacked him with a baseball bat in West Hull.
However with
our soft prison regimes, he was released on licence to a bail hostel in
Scunthorpe by March 2016, where he had a job as a mechanic, but he had
to sign on each day with the probation service.
Having apparently learnt nothing by his minimal sentencing, he decided to drive his car and passenger 'like a Formula 1'
driver, at 57 mph in a 30mph zone on the A1077 in West Hull. He was
rushing to avoid breaching those bail conditions, after crashing into a Ford Mondeo near a pub, and then he crashed his
Volkswagen Golf GTi into a lamppost, which flipped the car, after he
had already hit an oncoming Seat Ibiza, during a reckless overtaking
manoeuvre.
While his passenger escaped with minor injuries, and the other driver
was unhurt, he himself suffered a cut to his forehead requiring 20
stitches, lost a tooth and had heavy bleeding in his groin .... but this
was not the worst of his injuries. As the car flipped, a branch smashed
through the windscreen, and through the gaps in the steering wheel,
embedding itself in St Clair’s groin. St Clair told police officers: 'I pulled it out and my testicles fell out.' He then passed out again, and was taken to hospital.
Doctors were unable to reattach his balls, and he remained castrated. He
will now never be able to have a proper sexual relationship and will
never have children ... to add salt to the wounds, Judge Paul Watson QC,
sentenced him to a further eight months in prison, and told him: "You were driving like a lunatic." His lawyer had said in mitigation that prison officers had noted a 'marked change' in St Clair recently (since the crash)' .... I'll bet they have, cos he's not half the man he used to be .... and of course vets castrate male animals to make them more docile.
