The Muslim Azerbaijanis aided by their allies the Turks have just conquered the Christian Armenian enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh (who were also abandoned by the Russians, who were supposed to be their allies and peace protectors) ....

| Armenian Refugees - Sensible To Flee? |
.... And 101,000 of the 120,000 inhabitants of Nagorno-Karabakh (known as Arsakh's) flee from the fear of the rapes and killings that the takeover threatens for them.
The Americans and EU states are virtually silent on this ethnic cleansing and threat of genocide, apart from a few futile calls for international observers to be allowed in to the area. What cowards we are in not stopping Turkey and Azerbaijan from attacking a non Muslim people ... can you remember the West stepping in against Christian Serbia, in defence of the Muslim Albanians in Kosovo?
The Armenians are perfectly right and sensible to flee, despite Azerbaijani assurances that they would reintegrate the area and treat its residents as equals, in a greater Azerbaijan ..... they after all, only have to look back 100 years to Turkey during WWI, to know what is meant by 'equals' .... they have the nearly living memory of the 1 million Armenian's killed by the Turks back then, in the first of the worlds modern genocides.
Every living Armenian family will have lost relatives in that genocide ..... bearing in mind what happened in Kosovo, why on earth would they ever trust the West to protect them.
