Black Hebrew Israelites

 ..... those that still advocate a back to Africa approach, to the problems of black lives in non black majority countries.

Both the black Marcus Garvey and the white Thomas Jefferson (amongst others), also advocated at different times, that Black Americans should return to Africa, but as a mainstream idea, it had generally died out in the early 20th Century.

So nowadays its now considered a strange position to advocate, especially as there is little evidence of any great willingness of the US black community to give up their regular water, electricity, jobs, or welfare cheques, and private or public housing schemes, etc, for the chance to live in Accra, Johannesburg, or some other African city, where there is no regular power guarantee, or welfare systems to support them, and probably no jobs. The younger black American age group, are even less interested in any such change, as it would mean giving up their way of life.

Mr Dalton Jr bases his claims that the reuniting of the diaspora in Africa is actually a religious event, on the fact that in his view it is foretold in The Bible .... he came to this idea as a result of his upbringing as a Black Pentecostal Christian, where his reading of the bible (several times apparently) led to a revelation. This was that the lost tribes of Israel were actually black, and actually from Africa ... not that strange an idea when the Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel) were accepted as being eligible to emigrate to Israel in 1977.

Now, the Black Hebrew Israelites movement are not a new phenomena ... its originally based on ideas from the end of the 19th century, when both Frank Cherry and William Saunders Crowdy both independently claimed to have received visions that African Americans are descendants of the Hebrew's in the Bible.

This has also included the idea that the 'White Jews' are not real Jews, but actually white pagans who falsely claim to be Jews .... consequently many Black Hebrew Israelites follow some Jewish practices (often mixed with Christian and Masonic rituals), as the true keepers of gods truths. Perhaps the most 'Jewish' of these groups are the Commandment Keepers, but of course none of them qualify as being Jewish under halakhic Jewish laws. 

The Five Jewish Lies According To Mr Dalton Jr

Mr Dalton's version of this, isn't some debased form of Jewish religious practises, but is very strong on the fact that many of the worlds black people (but not all by any means), are the real Jews who were originally sold in to slavery by the white Jews, who then perpetrated five falsehoods to keep the blacks in the dark as to their true heritage: (highlights are Mr Dalton Jr's).

1. The Jews are Israelites (Hebrews) and thus Gods Chosen people.
2. Jesus Christ was a Jew (Jesus did not practise Judaism, Jesus stock was of Levi/Aarron (Mary) and Judah (Joseph).
3. That 6 million Jews were killed in the holocaust during WW II (many sources and scholars have proven that there were less than a quarter of a millions Jews living in Europe at the time of the Nazi Third Reich rule. This number was fabricated and was believed to be true by the Jewish controlled media in America).
4. That all people are equal (all people are not equal in the Religion of Judaism. We are considered "Goyim" or  "Goy," just like cattle).
5.  That the Jews are just another religious group (The Jews today are Europeans whose ancestors converted from pagan religions to the Judaism religion. Being a Jew, which is ...)
   

The Southern Poverty Law Center "lists 144 Black Hebrew Israelite organizations as black separatist hate groups because of their antisemitic and anti-white beliefs" while according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), "Some, but not all [Black Hebrew Israelites], are outspoken anti-Semites and racists," and Mr Dalton Jr's video uses a false Hitler quote from 'a secret document, before his death in an undisclosed location' - so very secret then - to support his views ....

.... that some Black people are the real Jews.

Therein lies the issue, because Mr Dalton produced a book/website/video called "Hebrews To Negroes: Black America Wake Up" in 2018, which he now promotes around the USA. 

Its contents include some inflammatory statements that are being interpreted by some, as being anti-Semitic. But its contents have been supported by sports stars such as Kyrie Irving, and indirectly by other celebrities such as Kanye West .... which has caused much public comment and criticism ... but oddly not against Ronald Dalton Jr as far as I can see, but rather against his public supporters such as Mr Irving.

I dug up a non maintained website, that espouses many of the core beliefs of the Hebrew Israelite organisation in Q and A format: e.g.

Q: Are all Black people Israelites?

A: “NO All black skinned people are not Israelites.  Israel is just one black nation that exist among many. The Egyptians, Canaanites, Ethiopians, babyloians [sic]etc were black skinned but they were not Israelites .....”

.... It makes for an interesting insight in to an extreme political view that is not much discussed outside of a minority Black American circle.
