.... and then use it to hammer a nail into a piece of wood.
This is because like any organic matter, the bananas is composed mostly of water. After being frozen it retains its essential properties in the process. Now move on 20 or 30 years and in Japan, the Iron Factory Ikeda in Japan, which made precision metal work, primarily known for making stunt items that go viral on social media such as realistic metallic replicas of various fruits and vegetables, from pineapple to broccoli.One of these items was a steel banana hammer in 2019 that can actually be used to hammer items such as nails ..... but it proved so popular that they started producing them for general sale, officially launched in 2020. On-Line they can be purchased for around £64 ($83 or Yen 11,877).
These oddly shaped hammers are said to be usable at up to 1,000 degrees Celsius, and Ikeda boasts that its the leading manufacturer of banana hammers, whilst coyly admitting to being the only manufacturer of banana hammers!

Now I've no doubt that they can be used to hammer nails, but I can only imagine that the rounded shape of the head means its rather unforgiving on a slight mishammer ..... I think I'll stick to a regular hammer.
