.... they called the police, as they found a man tied up to a hunters platform.
The police arrived and investigated. The 51 yr old man who was found to be unharmed by the cyclist and a hunter, who also found him fully dressed but bound with ropes and with tights over his head, on top of the deer-hunting platform.
The wooded site, near the town of Bueckburg, was apparently chosen as a liaison location between the man, and a woman he had met on-line, with a view to playing a sex game. She tied him up in preparation of the sex party fun, but then according to the rescued man, she then received a telephone call and rushed off, without saying a word, nor letting him go.
However, as an experienced BDSM aficionado, he carried a box-cutter knife for such emergencies (as apparently it wasn't his first such rodeo), but he had apparently totally underestimated the woman’s bondage skills, because he then found that he was unable to reach the knife to free himself.
It was at that point that he had started screaming for help. The police said that the man was physically unharmed, but he positively refused to provide any information about the woman’s identity. Police still opened an investigation of her, on suspicion of failure to render assistance, and a possible deprivation of liberty charge. But without his assistance (and one can see why he wouldn't want publicity), there was little hope of finding the woman.
