Perhaps not too strangely, many of Jeremy Corbyn's suggested policies would result in a vast increase in the number of public sector employees.

Rail Strikes Are Common In UK These Days

1. The railways should be renationalised.
2. The energy industry should be renationalised.
3. Public sector salary caps should be lifted.

These three alone would bring in thousands of new public sector employees, and add billions to the public sector bills that the tax payer has to support. So why does that matter?

Conspiracy Corner

I was in a bar the other day (no surprise there then), when I heard a conspiracy theory that I had not heard before. I will have to paraphrase it a little, as the gentleman spouting it, was a little verbose and prone to losing the point.

Basically it was this. We will be invaded by an alien fleet of highly advanced technology within the next 50 - 100 years, and there is a conspiracy of silence to keep us in the dark about it.

She never married, but had three daughters (only one of who married), and inherited a fortune in a much disputed will, from a rich merchant named John Courtoy, whose name she apparently took.

In this case the Advertising Standards Agency took offence at a light-hearted play on words. The company suffering from their false prudery, was Lewis Oliver Estates an estate agents in the Coventry area.
