Conspiracy Corner

I was in a bar the other day (no surprise there then), when I heard a conspiracy theory that I had not heard before. I will have to paraphrase it a little, as the gentleman spouting it, was a little verbose and prone to losing the point.

Basically it was this. We will be invaded by an alien fleet of highly advanced technology within the next 50 - 100 years, and there is a conspiracy of silence to keep us in the dark about it.
 

Leopard On The Loose

There is, or more probably was (by the time I post this), a leopard on the loose in a city in India ... the animal wandered into the Indian town of Meerut, where in response, all the local schools were shut, because it hasn't been killed or captured so far. The creature was probably driven to an urban lifestyle by lack of habitat, as the Indian population continues to grow in a frighteningly fast manner.

Attempts to capture it are at best amateurish, with the closest being when it was locked in a hospital room for a few hours before it escaped by clawing its way out. The whole process hampered by 'gawpers' who proved once again, if more proof was needed when you see the deaths at every Indian 'political protest' march, that in some cultures, 'life is held cheaply', and a few bystanders have been mauled .... none killed so far.

There is no report on where the authorises were when it was locked in the room, but they obviously were not rushing. Population estimates for leopards in India, suggest that their number may be down to about 10,000 (from figures around 10 times that fifty years ago), so sadly this not a problem that we will see in a few decades ....

Food Price Riots (Again)

While I was off, the news included food price riots in Africa ....... this should be no surprise, but interestingly I noted that all the coverage blamed the Russian drought, flooding elsewhere; and even rising living standards in the third world ..... but not one mention of the Elephant in the room, World Population Growth in the 'third world'.

Until that issue is addressed, the issue of too many mouths, and not enough food will come back ever more often. Oddly the latest riots were in Mozambique and in Africa, there is vast scope for agricultural expansion but for corruption and incompetence.

Zimbabwe is a good example of these twin evils, which mean Africa, which could be the bread basket of the world is one of the trouble spots.

However Malawi for example has shown that some simple reforms can turn an African state from a food aid recipient, into a net exporter (or at least self sufficiency) ..... so it can be done.

The 700

There are only 700 wild Mountain Gorillas left in the world, and they will likely be extinct before my death ..... Mankind is eating them, stealing their habitats, and nothing can stop this now.

We have charities and NGO's constantly but illogically asking us to 'save children', or give 'clean water', or 'food aid' etc etc, all of which are intended to bypass the last controls on the breeding of the human race.... Disaster, Famine, War and Plague.

Now I know how this sounds, but I think its the way its always been. The human race has always over bred, but historically this has been controlled by localised famines or plagues, which meant that the survivors of these events had land and food etc .... so they bred like rabbits, and eventually another famine or plague came along to control events.

Now though, we fight the epidemics, or the natural disasters, or famines, and in percentage terms very few actually die, but the birth rate is as high as ever (only starting from a higher base number than should have been the case), so when the next controlling event comes along, more people are at risk, and the efforts to save them are even more strenuous and so it goes on ........ until the fall.

At some point in the future there will be no way to feed, clothe or house all the people in some disaster or another. More people will die, than ever would have done before we interrupted natures only controls over the threat that we are.

There will be a cataclysm of violence at some time in the future (2050 AD is the date of choice for me) over water, food, land and the West will have all it can do to defend itself and its borders (as well as feed itself) from those attempting to enter, without trying to 'police' the rest of the world.

The human race is showing no sign of slackening its birth rate, and every disaster such as those in Pakistan or in China are fuelled by the tree felling for fuel, which allow floods to develop that would never have been so severe if the tree lines had been maintained. 

So the '700' will become the '300', then the 'extinct', as surely as day follows night ...... how sad it is to be living in a world in which the human race exterminates all the wild things, before eventually killing ourselves.

"A Perfect Storm"

This blog has frequently pointed to the confluence of events that may well precipitate profound changes in the human races existence on the planet, and even life itself ..... we have predicted 2050 AD as the moment of the disasters but more and more evidence suggests that there will be a major problem around 2030 AD which we have discussed. This week, the March predictions of UK chief scientist John Beddington, which described what he called a "A Perfect Storm" of food, energy and water shortages, unless the world changes its ways, arising as early as 2030 AD, have made the main news again, with some discussion on what to do. This is all population driven, and yet even now we talk around this subject, because too many on the 'PC Left' consider it "Racist" to suggest that the Middle East, Asia and Africa need to curb their population growth now. This is doubly so, because so many of these left wingers have a vested employment interests in the work of charities, NGO's and Inter governmental agencies which promote more, not less children in the Third World, but with no attempt to curb the birth rates.

In the Middle East, no attempt has ever been made to cut birth rates of 10 or more children, especially amongst the poor and ill educated. There are several populations with very high population growth rates, such as those of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, or the United Arab Emirates. Its been pointed out that Iran is a notable exception to the regional trends.

In the sub continent, only Mrs Indira Gandhi ever tried any forceful birth control measures (and she was assassinated). Despite some evidence that birth rates are falling in India, it appears that she is still likely to overtake China in population levels by 2050 AD.

Pakistan is on a track of mass population growth (which should worry the UK), and is expected to go through the roof. In 1950 Pakistan had a population of about 40 million people. Since then it has more than tripled and stood at 136 million in 1995. But because the country not only has a very young population, but also still an extremely high fertility rate (much higher, for instance, than in Bangladesh or Thailand), its predicted that Pakistan's population will be about 357 million by 2050 AD.

The Chinese have practised a one child policy for decades (with some success), but recently they have relaxed it to two children to stabilise the population and to get rid of the male orientated population that the one child policy produced.

Sub Saharan Africa has no birth rate policies, and Nigeria is predicted to have grown from a population in 1950 of about 33 million to about 112 million now. The UN predicts that between 1995 and the year 2050 the country's population will probably triple again and reach almost 339 million ..... a ten fold increase in less than a century.

By 2050 AD a much bigger share of the world population will live in Africa South of the Sahara. In only some 50 years Western Africa, for instance, will have the same population as all of Europe. Eastern Africa will have many more people than all the countries of South America, the Caribbean and Oceania combined.

So we face an unprecedented population explosion, and no resources to feed them .... the US survivalists may be on to something.

No Room For The Dead

Statistics suggest that 1 in 18 people in Cairo now live in the City of the Dead, using catacombs and monuments as housing.

The reason? The Egyptian population, like much of the Arab world, has exploded over the last 60 years. Egypt for instance has a current population of 77 million, but had only 10 million in 1900, and still only 20 million in 1950. At current rates of growth, its expected to be about 117 million by 2050 AD, which is unsustainable, and means that Egypt has no way of providing potable water, food, housing, or creating enough jobs for this expected population.

So people are living in the tombs of medieval Egyptian 'notables', such as as the family mausoleum of Muhammad Ali, the founder of modern day Egypt, and his sons.

According to Dr Ibrahim El-Issawy, an economist for a government advisory body, The Institute of National Planning "It's a desperate situation for these people - but it is not only in the City of the Dead, there are tens of slums… they are everywhere around Egypt. They are crying out for 'basic' needs; good public education, health services, employment opportunities. They are not there," he added. "Except for the privileged few."

Added to the issues of jobs, housing and water, there are the added social problems these bring such as the fact that many young people can't afford a family. In the city of Cairo, the average age of marriage has jumped to 31 and this has led to mass sexual attacks on young women by males who have little chance of getting a wife.

The only option the young of Egypt have is the emigrate, but they don't want to go to other Muslim countries, because they are as bad or worse than Egypt, no they all want to emigrate to Non Muslim countries (The US or EU), legally or illegally, and that's why we should all be concerned about squatters in the Tombs of Old Cairo.

England being swamped by immigration

It's just been officially announced that after over a decade of unrestricted immigration, England is now the most overcrowded major country in Europe.... this is not news, as all the political parties have connived in New Labours lack of control on third world immigration.

It simply illustrates the sheer level of the criminal negligence implicit in the failure of politicians to defend our borders. In the past this would have been classed as betrayal akin to a treason, but in our PC times, there will be those white haters on the left who will be happy with the news.

We are heading for a time when racial problems will spill into violence .... I say that because flooding one country with foreign and alien peoples will surely cause violence. I cite Fiji, Uganda, Libya, Niger and Malaya as examples of where the native population have reacted violently to perceived mass immigration.

I expect that this news will be ignored by the Government, which after all is the Architect of this mass immigration.
