As soon as the story broke, Franck Allais, a freelance photographer came forward, and said that it was not anti-Semitic and in fact was part of an artistic project, which included other signs such as of a woman pulling a shopping trolley.
Sometimes it pays to wait before jumping to conclusions, or opening your mouth without your brain being engaged ....
I don't see the perceived anti Semitism in the sign? As you say, LOOK before you leap!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, neither did I. I thought it was just a man with a hat. Certainly I would never have thought it was a Jewish man. But the PC police find offence in everything these days and can spot things, even when they don't exist. Thanks for the comment Vroomfondel.
