The Costs Of Asymmetric Warfare

Iran was building an 'Axis of Resistance' via Gaza (Hamas), Lebanon (Hezbollah), and Iraq (various factions) ....

Irans - Axis of Resistance
Iran's - Axis of Resistance

.... this was its own personal form of Asymmetric warfare.

Revenge, Retaliation And Destruction

The terror attack by Hamas on Isreal was, for a few brief hours celebrated by some Islamists and Palestinian supporting mobs worldwide ....

Some Celebrated The Hamas Attack October 2023
Some Celebrated The Hamas Attack October 2023

... while the civilised world was just shocked at the barbarity of the terrorists actions. Hamas, despite all the evidence, has since denied the atrocities that the world saw being committed (no links here, the scenes are too horrific) ... they apparently think we are all as stupid as their followers.

No Oil On Troubled Waters

I don't care about Qatar's spat with its neighbours about who supports terrorists. They are all doing it. Saudi Arabia, the chief complainant about Qatar, has long supported the Taliban and other hard-line Salafists and Wahabi radical groups.

Hunting With Falcons A Long Tradition

After all, the 9/11 attackers were Saudis, and so was the planner ..... a fact which has been down played far too often.

Judged By The Company You Keep

It always makes me laugh that the deluded supporters of the 'Palestinians' in the West, usually avail themselves of the luxuries and safety afforded in democratic Israel, by staying there, while merely visiting their friends in Palestine, and only then under armed guard by their hosts. This to prevent themselves being kidnapped by the even more violent sub-terrorist groups that also operate in the Palestinian territories.

Its even funnier, that when the Israeli government objects to the presence of these Palestinian supporters in Israel, the supporters bleat on about their human rights and the rule of law, (none of which are available in their friends lands), to complain. They actually cite "freedoms essential to democracy" as a complaint .... both Hamas and the PLO practise no democracy, let alone the essential freedoms of such a system, but they are not held to the same standards as Israel.

Road To Hell

The BBC is covering the Middle East stories with all its usual biases in full and open display:
  • Pro Muslim
  • Anti Israeli
  • Anti Christian
It wrings its hands over every 'Palestinian' Arab casualty at the hands of the Israelis, with pictures of babies crying in every shot. It devotes thousands of reporting hours on the TV, Radio and the Web, to what is effectively a propaganda campaign for Hamas.

But it is hardly 'balanced' in its reporting, as it rarely points out that:
  1. The Gaza Arabs voted for Hamas, a prescribed terrorist organisation, to be their government.
  2. That for many years Hamas has launched several rockets daily at Israel - this blog covered the same issue way back in 2008. Or that if that had been say, Scotland launching rockets at England, no one would be surprised that England retaliated, and the BBC would have to support that retaliation or be closed down.
  3. They rarely dwell on the 'human shields' policy of Hamas - launching rockets from school playgrounds, or hospital car parks etc, is illegal, but the BBC says almost nothing.
  4. The fact that the BBC hasn't been able to report from Gaza in decades, because they would be kidnapped by Hamas (or other equally nasty terror groups who find havens in Gaza), and that its only now able to do so, because Hamas wants them to serve as its propagandist mouth pieces. A role the BBC is apparently happy to fulfil.
Nazis and Hamas - what's the difference if your Jewish?
Nazis and Hamas - what's the difference if your Jewish?

On the first point (1) - The Nazi party was voted into power in Germany ... however I don't recall hearing that the BBC were ever crying over German casualties during the second world war ... or about them ever ignoring the concentration camps.

Western Folly

With Britain surprisingly having rejected being pushed once again into the boiling cauldron that is Middle East politics (ostensibly, not to change the regime, but to back the US desire to punish the use of chemical weapons, which crossed Pres. Obama's 'red line'), it seems a timely occasion to remind ourselves that it is not just the Assad regime who act like animals.

We were effectively being pushed to be on the same side as al-Qaeda and those who fight under its banner .... for instance there are large groups such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who have cooperated with al-Qaeda in many attacks against Israel and the Israeli security forces. The Israel intelligence services believe that Hamas, in cooperation with al-Qaeda, have managed to infiltrate operatives from the Gaza into Israel in preparation for attacks.

So its also likely that Hamas elements are already in Syria fighting alongside their allies, who will now include the US / France and the United Kingdom .... if that doesn't tell you that our inept leaders are completely out of their depths, then nothing does. But just in case there are any doubts as to the sort of allies we would be fighting alongside (in aims at least), here is a picture from the 21st of November 2012 which was issued by Reuters.

Our Animal Palestinian 'Allies' In The Middle East
Our 'Allies' In The Middle East

It shows how much the technical 'allies' of the US and France (assuming we stay out), Hamas and al-Qaeda, value human rights, the rule of law and international norms .... these Hamas gunmen had just publicly executed six suspected 'Israeli spies', who they had accused of telling the Israeli defence forces about rocket launch sites and other information.

So after being tortured, and 'confessing', they had been publicly shot .... then one of the corpses was tied behind a motorcycle and dragged around the streets of Gaza, to the cheers of an approving mob who chanted "Spy!, Spy!" .... in all, this little bit of 'justice' cost the lives of eight men (one was shot in the street, and another was found dead in a communal wheelie bin).

Pity the poor Christians who live in Syria, they will face the final ethnic cleansing in the region when these Jihadists get full control of the country .... Our politicians, particularly those on the European left-wing (France is currently both socialist, and playing an influence game in a country they once ruled), just don't understand what kind of animals are fighting in these middle east conflicts, and how while they use us and beg our help to fight their 'enemies' (Israel), they remain implacably opposed to us, our religion, and our values.

Arab Mobs Protest You Tube Film

Once again the followers of the "religion of peace" are demonstrating how peaceful they are by committing acts of violence and murder across the Arab world. So far the deaths have included the US Ambassador to Libya (and members of his staff), as well as sundry Muslims, either killed in the attacks or in the demonstrations that have followed.

Muslim Mobs
Muslim Mobs .....

The cause of all this violence is a small Internet film posted on You tube last June, which apparently had the temerity to suggest that Islam is not as good a religion as some would like to think .... this of course is not to be tolerated, and is to be met by mindless acts of violence and mobs.

Voting Rights and Wrongs

There are two essential parts to any democratic system and those are that

(a) The people can vote for whomever they want (within some limitations on parties advocating violence against other citizens), and

(b) People who exercise their vote, do so with the knowledge that they are responsible for the end results.

Tunisia is the first of the "Arab Spring" countries to vote for a new government and has just voted for the Islamist party 'Ennahda' as the biggest party in its constitutional assembly, how this turns out will become clear in the coming months. It may be a mistake that just leads to Sharia law and an Iranian style regime.

The people of Gaza voted for Hamas, and then complained that because they had democratically elected an terrorist organisation as its government, then the rest of the world should accept that this legitimised them and their policies .... wrong.

Voting For These, Is Hard For Democracies To Digest

If Hitler, or Stalin were 'democratically' voted into office today, would this mean that we should all accept that the 'holocaust', or 'the Purges' were legitimate policy goals, or treat them as pariah states? Well most Hamas supporters believe in much the same policies towards the Jews as Hitler (who is popular in the Muslim world)  ....

As discussed earlier, having a democracy make you responsible for the standard of the government you have voted to represent you. The Tunisians are responsible for what they may end up getting by dabbling with Islamic politics, and the people of the Gaza strip have to live with the results of voting for a terrorist group as their government.

Too many of the deluded apologists for these nasty little regimes in the West forget this second responsibility when they bleat on about the democratically elected groups of the Middle East, and it might be better if responsible democracy rather than oil supplies governed US and Western policies in the Middle East.

Israel's Blood Price

Israel is apparently on the point of swapping one thousand and twenty seven Palestinian terrorists and criminals (including murderers and rapists), from its jails, in return for the handing over of one of its soldiers captured by Hamas in 2006  ....

Gilad Shalit - Worth Freeing A Thousand Terrorists?
Gilad Shalit - Worth Freeing A Thousand Terrorists?

Obviously the family of the soldier Gilad Shalit think that this is a price worth paying, but surely this has now set a hostage value of around 1,000 to 1, for every Israeli citizen captured by Palestinians?

Peace Campaigners or Hostages To Fortune?

Following hot on the murder of the UN workers in Afghanistan ..... last week in the Gaza Strip, some radical Islamists abducted and hung an Italian 'Peace Campaigner' i.e. he was very Pro Palestinian and very Anti Israeli, called Vittorio Arrigoni.  The reason? (as if they needed one), they were in dispute with the ruling Hamas terror group about not being radical enough and wanted to 'bargain with them' .... They posted a video on 'YouTube', showing a beaten Mr Arrigoni with his eyes covered with thick black gaffer tape.

Italian Hostage Video

A caption on the video read: "The Italian hostage entered our land only to spread corruption," and the video called Italy "the infidel state".  In the end they didn't bother with negotiations, and he was killed within hours of being abducted. Italy denounced the "barbaric murder", calling it an "act of vile and senseless violence" .... this is the same Italy which urges inaction in Libya. "He came from across the world, left his country and family and his entire life and came here to break the siege, and we kill him? Why?" asked one of his Palestinian friends.

Why indeed? ... You would think such casual violence and barbarism would finally open a few left-wing eyes to the type of regime that would be ushered in, if these radical groups ever seize power outside of Palestine .... but as sure as day follows night, the next 'blockade busting flotilla' will be full of yet more delusional left wing 'peace campaigners'.

Peace Protesters Are Shown To Be Merely Thugs

Finally, here's film of the boarding of the "Peace Flotilla" ship which very clearly shows the "Peace Protesters" using violence to attack Israeli soldiers.

Whether the violence of the attacks on them justifies the killings, is probably a matter only the soldiers being attacked can be sure of, but I won't listen to Western "Peace Protesters" saying that it was the Israeli's who started the violence, when clearly it was the Islamist's on the ship who did so.

Violence begets violence and the protestors should have remained 'peaceful' protestors ......

Terrorist Blockade Runners OR Peace Convoy?

Israel has clashed violently in International Waters, with a Turkish led convoy of "Peace Campaigners" who were taking aid into Gaza, thus breaking the Israeli blockade of the area.

Hamas Hypocrites

With the usual hypocrisy that only Arabs can muster, the Hamas ruling party in Gaza knocked down dozens of Arab homes that they claimed were built illegally on 'Government lands'. Of course there is not a murmur from any of the surrounding states nor the Arab press ..... however when its Israel knocking down houses for the same reasons, well that's another story!

Hamas Bull Dozers Arab Homes On 'Government' Lands
Hamas Bull Dozers

I and a lot of others might have some sympathy with the Arabs if they weren't so obviously anti anyone non Muslim, while so disregarding of Muslim failures.

If an Israel bomb kills a Muslim (terrorist or not) they are irresponsible murderers and the victims 'martyrs', while Hamas rockets into Israel are applauded and the victims 'legitimate war targets'.

If a Mosque is hit by a US/Israeli/UK bullet, then its an attack against Allah and worthy of violent suicide attacks, but when the same mosque is blown shitless by another brand of Islam (they are all violent to some degree or other), then hardly a murmur.

When a Non Muslim enters a mosque they must show total deference or else its like the world has ended and the infidel must die - but Christian churches can be defamed by any Muslim Arab gunmen and there is not a murmur by any Muslim.

It's this sheer bigotry, hypocrisy and intolerance that makes me oppose everything about their cult.

Tensions In The Middle East

A month ago I blogged on the deterioration of relations between the UK and Israel, particularly the relationship between the left wing in the UK and the socialist founded Israel.

Well, matters have moved on with diplomatic expulsions and the Israeli's falling out with the US as well ..... so far the Israelis are hanging tough.

With Israeli troops in Gaza again, and pledging to carry on building in the City of Jerusalem this is a story that could run for a while.

Old Friends Make Bad Enemies

This Blog has discussed the general collapse of good will between the Socialists of the UK (aka New Labour Party), and the generally (these days) 'right wing' governments of Israel. In particular we discussed the Anti-Semite accusations by Israel towards the UKs attitudes toward a Jewish state.

It appears that the collapse has reached a new low with accusations that MOSSAD used faked British Passports to kill a Hamas operative buying arms in Dubai. One wonders, if Israel had considered the UK a friend instead of as an increasingly 'islamacised' country, whether they would have used another countries passports?

Interestingly, the US is a much firmer friend of Israel and one wonders if the lefts stance in support of the Islamic dictatorships of the Arab world, won't eventually split the UK from its US alliance?

Double Standards in Middle East

I came across the video "Hamas in their own voices", via a link to another blog on the Burnt Toast website .... This American voiced video on You Tube shows various HAMAS supporters and MP's on their local or Arabic TV.

All the broadcasts were from before the current Gaza crisis, and its a real pity that our politicians and liberal broadcasters aren't forced to watch this, then ask the Muslims marching down our Streets, why they march to support this regime, and why they don't march to protest Hamas rockets?

As I have remarked before, the double standards of the Arab world and their Western apologists are breathtaking.

They feel that they can

  • Launch missiles at civilian targets from their 'sovereign territories' (No UN comment or anything less than full support from the Muslim world, even though its a 'war crime'), and then expect no one to fight back.
  • Use human shields while attacking Israel, then complain about civilian casualties when fire is returned.
  • Preach for the 'death of all *Jews', but complain about a cartoon "offending" Islam.
  • Call for the Conquest of Rome (like Constantinople) whilst banning non Muslims from Mecca or Medina.
  • Call for the the conquest and forced conversion of Western Europe, but complain about any restriction in Muslim emigration to these same "crusader" lands.
  • Threaten both Americas and Eastern Europe, with the same fate that they plan for Western Europe, but complain about "Crusaders" being in Muslim lands.
  • Request the right to use a Spanish Cathedral to pray whilst refusing Catholics use of a church in "European" Turkey - Similarly Turkey denies the Sophia Hague to the Greeks.
  • Demand respect for their cult, but refuse to give the same to anyone else.
  • And kill more fellow Muslims each day than any 'crusaders' would ever dare (or want), but cry crocodile tears if a non Muslim even looks harshly at them.

Ironically if they followed the tenets of the 'peaceful and tolerant religion' they claim to be, they would have their own state, would not have barriers raised against them around the world, and not be feared or despised.

The fact that they deliberately use schools such as the UN school hit by Israel last week to launch rockets and store weapons, is graphically shown on this Israeli Defence Force video, again from You Tube.

Its hard to see how this video, recorded from outside the very UN school that made the news, can be denied, so no doubt it will just be ignored by the UK and EU governments calling for an end to "Israeli aggression".

*"Israel should be wiped from the face of the Earth. It is an animal state that recognises no human worth. It is a cancer that should be eradicated," said Ghazi Hamad, a spokesman for the Hamas-led government. This was in 2006, following another Israeli retaliation to a Hamas rocket attack which resulted in a large number of civilian casualties.

Gaza - The Land Of Tears

The Israeli response to the rocket attacks that Hamas has carried out, on a more or less daily basis since Israel withdrew from Gaza, has provoked much world reaction.

Hamas Rockets Range

As you might expect the Arabs have been out on the streets, "Death to Israel" is no doubt the chant from Damascus to Cairo ... not a word condemning Hamas's part in all of this, but then there never is, is there?
